That ending was unexpected. I had already given up on Haruta x Naruse, because it was clear Naruse was never going to like Haruta as more than a friend, but maybe it would have been better if Haru didn't end up with anyone at the end, not because I don't like Kurosawa (I do like him) or because of the age gap (even though it's a bit difficult for me to see them as a couple, I don't see any romantic feelings between them, I see Kurosawa more as a fatherly figure for Haruta), but because just as it would have been too sudden for Naruse to fall for Haruta after he said he had no romantic feelings for him and confessing to Shino, it was too sudden for Haru to accept Kurosawa. He refused him so many times and he looked like he really liked Naruse, so the ending doesn't really fit. I guess he could have had a late realization, maybe after Kurosawa quit he realized how much he means to him, but it's still not quite believable for me.
Anyway, overall I really enjoyed this show, as much as the previous ones. I laughed so hard (not many shows can make me laugh) and cried too. It's so good. I wouldn't mind if they kept making more, but I'm worried it would be ruined in the end, so maybe it's better if they stop here.
Honestly, this was a bit boring for me until episode 10, so I'm living for the drama! Go Tar and Lhong, I just can't dislike them XD (what they did was so awful though). Tharn not being able to push Tar away wasn't very believable. They really had to stay in that position for such a long time, because that's how you have a conversation with a person lol

YES! THEY DID! The more time passes since I finished watching the last episode the more sadness is replaced with anger... baby Xi Gu deserved better, he really did, COME ON!! After all that suffering he had found happiness in life finally T^T and poor Hao Ting, it was so heartbreaking to see him so different and empty, he was alive, but still lifeless. It's like they took his own life from him.
After the finale? Very unlikely which IS sad since I want more BL from Taiwan and till now they always delivered…

I agree! For all the struggles he had to go through, YXG was the one who deserved a happy ending the most. It's so upsetting. Like others have said already, these dramas are a happy place for me, an escape from reality, I always go back to re-watch my favorite ones when I'm feeling down. This was going to be so perfect, but they ruined it. I rarely watch sad endings, I usually avoid them, especially in the case of an innocent love story like this one, in other circumstances I can appreciate a sad ending, I'm not against them, but this felt out of place.

It feels like it's just because they are a same sex couple, so it's okay to kill one of them at the end when the whole drama was happy and full of fluff and puppy love... do they often kill one of the main characters in straight romance dramas? I don't think so
