YES! THEY DID! The more time passes since I finished watching the last episode the more sadness is replaced with anger... baby Xi Gu deserved better, he really did, COME ON!! After all that suffering he had found happiness in life finally T^T and poor Hao Ting, it was so heartbreaking to see him so different and empty, he was alive, but still lifeless. It's like they took his own life from him.

idk I don't see why this ending means they won't do more, I don't see it like that, but you're right, Taiwan has always made great BL, so even if they won't continue with HIStory I know we'll still get awesome content (hopefully something different from this).

I agree! For all the struggles he had to go through, YXG was the one who deserved a happy ending the most. It's so upsetting. Like others have said already, these dramas are a happy place for me, an escape from reality, I always go back to re-watch my favorite ones when I'm feeling down. This was going to be so perfect, but they ruined it. I rarely watch sad endings, I usually avoid them, especially in the case of an innocent love story like this one, in other circumstances I can appreciate a sad ending, I'm not against them, but this felt out of place.

I thought about the memory loss thing too lol I really didn't want to accept that ending :(

Right! that ending was so unnecessary! It doesn't fit the show at all. It feels like it's just because they are a same sex couple, so it's okay to kill one of them at the end when the whole drama was happy and full of fluff and puppy love... do they often kill one of the main characters in straight romance dramas? I don't think so

This was so good until the last episode, but it's probably the only HIStory I'm never going to re watch fully.
