It keeps putting pressure on our couple, so we see the cracks and strain and we just know that it needs only one sharp blow to break it.
It’s not the Yue Yue reveal out of nowhere, it’s piled on top of everything else. It’s the way they’re so hurt and struggling. They’re so consumed by their own fears and worries, they’re not seeing or listening to the other person. I can really see how post-divorce era, that they can rebuild so much stronger without all of WSW’s anxiety and CC’s unhealed wounds between them.Thats what makes everything in this series feel so real and true

This story is not going according to the novel , the author clearly said not to read the novel and she has clearly edited most of the novel to bring out the best parts of it , so you see in the previous episodes the kiss is always intiated by CC and episode 12 is different become WSW first intiates it , it's raw,messy and emotional as it should be, it's just maybe not your cup of tea

This was just the starting, that's why they edited some scenes because they thought it was necessary, it wasn't censored at all, if you compare other chinese BL censored dramas, This show is way better in showing their relationship with each other and also it doesn't matter whether it is uncensored or censored, what matters is the chemistry, if there is no chemistry between the characters, even nc scenes will just look like p*rn, the chemistry here is so good that even without nc scenes this series is amazing on its own
