This....was by far the best Korean BL drama I have watched in a WHILE! I noticed A LOT of Korean BL dramas/movies end badly or is just tragedy and I'm so happy for this ending! I wasn't able to find eng subs to watch this for a WHILE but I finally find one and I'm so grateful! Will surely be re-watching this soon.
I thought this was a really good first episode and I hope the drama does not disappoint! The acting isn't bad(and I especially liked Pete's mom's acting) and there aren't any cringy scenes in it. They did a good job of making lots of openings for further things to come.
I got a little confused with the bar scene but they will hopefully clear that up later. The problem for me is the amount of people, the cast and the supporting cast. It doesn't bother me but it makes a few scenes confusing for me, as I don't know who they are talking about sometimes but I will catch on in the next episode.
I hesitated to begin watching this because of the no. of episode lol. I just watched the first episode and it legit is like a soap opera but I like that. So realistic.
I just watched the trailer for this drama and I was trying to count how many pairings there are and I counted 4 but I have no idea. XD Looks hella interesting though, hope it wont disappoint.
OMFG! Counting down the days! I love how (Most) of the BL series we have been getting lately from Thailand, Taiwan, etc are getting better. Mostly the endings, with a LOT of BL dramas or movies there would always be a tragic ending(Mostly from Korea or China). I love angst and tragic shows but I kinda got sick of it. Quality of the shows are getting better too! Am I rambling? Probably.
The trailer looks so good! I can't wait till the English sub for the whole episodes are out! Usually I would watch the BL cuts on dramas if it involves a girl but this looks so entertaining that I have to watch it fully.
I've watched 4 episodes already and honestly, I did enjoy them for the most part, I'm really getting annoyed at the relationship between Kongpob and Arthit. You would think after 3 years of being in a relationship that Arthit will warm up to Kongpob. It seems like Arthit is still pushing him away just like in the first season. You can see how much this relationship means to Kongpob but I don't see that with Arthit. I can't tell if Kongpob is annoyed or upset with Arthit's behavior.(Probably both)
In the first season Arthit didn't show much interest in having a relationship with Kongpob and even now I still see that. He pushes him away and never lets him to close. I thought it was adorable in the first season but now, after it's been 3 years, it makes me annoyed. Even though I still have many things to rant about, I will continue watching the first of the season and hope for the best that things get better between them as in romantic.
PS: I love the new relationship that has formed between May and M! They are adorable and May is so beautiful!! Also I'm interested in the new relationship that is forming between Day and Tew. It kind of seem like a romantic relationship is forming but I can't tell if that's what it is just yet. (Hopefully it is, they would be so cute)
The ending.... 'sigh'....it was sad to me and I would of been happy if they ended up together, I mean that's kind of what you expected to happen since they meet after so many years. But even after saying I wanted them to be together at the end, I understand completely why Chai did what he did. It was pretty clear that Aek had strong feelings for the girl (can't remember her name) so I can understand why he left Aek to be happy instead of staying and making Aek choose between the two of them and perhaps losing both of them. Though what made me upset emotionally was when Aek let the paper go and left it on the sand, I understand it's like letting go of the past, but also keeping it in his heart, I wished he kept it. They will forever be in each others hearts even if another love blossoms within. (Was that poetic? I watch A LOT of BL dramas and movies.)
I kind of am wondering what will happen in the future with them, Aek went to live his life with the girl, while Chai was last shown on the boat smiling and reliving their memories together. I hope they move on and find happiness, while keeping each other in their heart forever; the love they had never forgotten.....
