I loved S1, so I'm super excited to watch S2

Well, they kinda have to because the friends play a huge role. I agree with you. I'm not saying that people have to read the novel or anything. I'm just saying that that part of the plotline will only unravel pretty slowly. It will come in the later part of the story. We just have to hope they do it right and do the novel justice in that aspect.

I can kinda answer a couple of the questions😄. 1. None of the friends seeming sad - There's actually a plotline for it in the novel👀 There's a reason for it. 2. why a university student has access to security camera of the town - status and power. that's the answer to that. Honestly, if people have that, they can get away with doing/getting a lot of stuff. This applies for all places, not just Thailand

Ik I may seem biased, but I would definitely say that it's not bad enough to warrant a 1. Just like there are JD lovers who will rate everything a 10, there will also be haters who rate everything a 1. I would recommend you don't rely on any of the reviews and watch the first couple of eps and see how you feel and decide. Drama tastes are subjective after all

Yoo.. this adaptation freaking sucks!!! If you don't have prior knowledge from the old Takumi-Kun movies, you won't really be able understand much here. I thought I would like this one better since this one is a newer version, but that's clearly not the case. So many inconsistencies and confusion

From what I understand in the novel, he initially starts it to tease/annoy Kamin. There is some attraction from his side from the beginning, but it mainly started as a way to annoy him. Especially, since Kamin is such a poker faced guy.
