I LOVE THIS!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW! I honestly enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would (coming from someone who knows nothing about the anime or the manga). I started watching it because the trailer looked fun. This live-action is a really good idea because I enjoyed it so much that it made me curious about the anime too. I'm not really an anime watcher, but I might give OP a try.

2. This one doesn't count anymore, but Love Supremacy Zone was originally announced as a bromance. However, after all the backlash and anger they got, they decided to change it back a couple of days ago.

I agree lol. I’m honestly surprised because this never seemed to work in the past. However, since the number of fans has increased, so has heat of the fight back. I’m honestly proud!!

lol I’m not mad about that. Don’t get me wrong! I just think that all the people who were looking forward to this are more upset about the fact that the production wasn’t willing to come up with any creative solutions to make this work such as changing the love interest of the high schooler. There also multiple issues because one of the main characters tries to k*** himself due to the homophobia and bullying he faced. To completely remove the LGBT+ aspect kind of defeats the whole point of the story…It also doesn’t help that this drama is being made by the same company which made Unintentional Love story. They should know better than this. Besides, there’s already a non-BL kdrama with a very similar premise to this. I think it’s called ‘The dude in me’. I’m not a 100% sure

They could’ve easily changed the age of the gangster instead of changing removing the entire element 🤷‍♀️. They could’ve made him younger. I mean, look at the age gap in Goblin.. The goblin is a man stuck in his 40’s and is actually 939 or whatever, and yet he still had a romance with a high school girl. This one is stuck in a teenager’s body. Both of them are fictional shows, so how come everyone likes Goblin?? Not trying to pick an argument!!!

All that stuff only happens in western shows though. Where have you seen a kdrama where a character is black washed or with changed sexuality? This stuff rarely happens in Asian dramas, but somehow this is okay??I’m not trying to pick a fight here, but people are allowed to be upset. There are tons and tons of non-BL manhuas that are similar to this story, but constantly choosing a BL manhwa and removing the LGBTQ+ element is weird. This is the third show to do this.. Also, there are much less queer contents in number compared to straight shows, so people are allowed to upset when those contents are messed with. One of the main characters tries to k*** himself because of the constant homophobic bullying… If they find the gangster’s age creepy, they could’ve easily change his age, instead of changing the entire point of the webtoon..

Yeah, I’m so confused too. I saw the official page and it said BL and the articles are stating it as BL too, but now some people are saying it did not change back. This is too confusing for me… I wish they stated it officially, so that I don’t have to keep my hopes up… If it’s BL, I will definitely watch it because I really like the storyline. However, if it’s bromance, then fuck it!

Idk care if it doesn't come out this year or within the next few years... I just really want to watch it so bad!!! I'm okay with waiting if I have to. As long as it's not cancelled, I will keep having hope🤞

The 'less interesting ' part is so true!!!! It's so freaking annoying 🙄!! I loved S1 and I really don't want my favorite show to ruined just because they want to attract romance lovers😭. They already have so many options to watch from, while we get a rare zero romance show once in a blue moon.... I'm not against the romance genre at all, but I need romance and crime shows like this to be separated. All I can do is hope for the best rn. I'm fine with a detective FL helping with the investigation, but that's all I want🤞

I will not watch this if they add romance. I rated S1 a 10... I don't care how much I liked S1. The minute they add romance to this, I'm just gonna pretend that this season does not exist. They already have enough romance cdramas, so why do they have to insert it when it's not even necessary. This is a CRIME drama for goodness sake! I want to watch the crimes, the investigation, the clues, and the teamwork! If I wanted romance, I would go watch an actual romance drama...

I don't think I'll be able to watch it then. Why are they obsessed with adding romance to everything😭😭? China already has tons and tons of romance dramas...

I don't mind seeing a FL in season 2, but they better not add any romance.... I like my crime dramas to only be focused on crimes, investigation, and teamwork...
