The 'less interesting ' part is so true!!!! It's so freaking annoying 🙄!! I loved S1 and I really don't want my favorite show to ruined just because they want to attract romance lovers😭. They already have so many options to watch from, while we get a rare zero romance show once in a blue moon.... I'm not against the romance genre at all, but I need romance and crime shows like this to be separated. All I can do is hope for the best rn. I'm fine with a detective FL helping with the investigation, but that's all I want🤞

I will not watch this if they add romance. I rated S1 a 10... I don't care how much I liked S1. The minute they add romance to this, I'm just gonna pretend that this season does not exist. They already have enough romance cdramas, so why do they have to insert it when it's not even necessary. This is a CRIME drama for goodness sake! I want to watch the crimes, the investigation, the clues, and the teamwork! If I wanted romance, I would go watch an actual romance drama...

Assholes turned it into a bromance 🤬 They're so many straight manhwas they can adapt, but they're always targeting BL's and taking the queer out of them. I can understand why Chinese dramas do it, but there's no excuse for kdramas. Looks like they're trying to take the Chinese route and trying to "please" everyone. This way the homophobic people can watch the "bromance" and queer fans can catch the "subtle hints". I refuse to support this!

Nope, this show is not a BL. Justice in the Dark was said to be cancelled because the drama showed / was supposed to show the poverty side of China (a real life element ) and etc rather than the bl element. I just hope that this show won't get cancelled for using a real life aspect ( the sect that someone mentioned below)

I'm 10 minutes in and Wan Mian is pissing me off lol. I kind of feel bad for Zijin at this point. She's constantly playing a game of push and pull with him, and she's so insulting!! I know Zijin is surely not sect leader material, but she just seems so aggressive. If I were Zijin, I would definitely be very hurt...

Lmao same! I'm really not in the mood to watch romance stuff rn and I heard that the novel version does not have any romance except the ex. That's why I started this. I'm going to be pissed if they insert romance now..I'm actually gonna put this on pause for now. I absolutely cannot handle romance right now, so I'm going to wait for it to finish airing to be sure
