based on what i read in the comments, you don't need to watch the first one, but there are some scenes the will be shown in this movie related to the first one but you don't have to worry because you'd still understand the story, i'm also planning on watching this. hehe
i just finished watching it, without subtitles but thanks to 9 yrs of watching korean dramas i was able to understand the korean even without subs, and as predicted I cried reaaaally hard T__T i was very heart breaking
i feel like after watching this i might not eat pork for a while, well I actually don't remember the last time I ate pork, i live alone and is lazy cooking, i usually eat fish, egg, bread, fruits, veggies and sometimes chicken, i doubt i'll be a vegan but i'll probably cut out some or else everytime I eat it i will be reminded me of this movie and cry my ass off again. Just thinking about the times I ate pork makes me puke. :/
i feel like re-watching the anime version of FMA and FMA: Brotherhood but i'm afraid i will feel the same pain i felt before and cry may ass off, i was still very young back then and my memory of the anime isn't clear anymore but i will never forget how bad i cried :<

for me, i have a love hate feelings for this drama, the beginning of this drama was really fun, but i stopped around ep 24 for 7 months, yes that long, lol tho i don't remember if i got bored or i just felt like i wanna watch a diff genre at that time. Until I decided to watch it again the other day tho i had to do a recap which took me more than 3 hours haha anyway after that i was already halfway through the drama and I was freaking pissed because of all that was happening, I was hating A LOT of character, i even freaking hated the leads, it was annoying but after a few more episodes it got more and more exciting esp the last few episodes. so despite those draggy moments in the middle i liked the beginning and ending so i was fine with it AND i think it is worth my time. :')

You should rewatch it.. The anime itself is kinda slow pace, and I think this adaptation in live action is good.…
true, kento's character here is completely diff from what he usually does and it's really refreshing to see a new side of him. I haven't seen the anime so i can't tell much but i think it was a good live action, and maybe i will re-watch it someday, so probably by then i'll have a diff opinion about it. :) Thank you for sharing your thoughts . :)
