Your evidence is true for me at least š Havenāt seen LS but dropped FIYS after 6 eps even though I like Xu Kai after watching the Legends. FIYS was too immature and childish. The lift scene was one of the most WTF moments Iāve ever seen. For an esports drama, much prefer GoGo Squid.
Iām loving this show! Its so cute. YY and Dilereba are our perfect Yu Tu and Jing Jing, just like they stepped out of the book. The storyline follows the book to a tee. My only complaint is the episodes are too short, but the positive of that is thankfully they donāt introduce draggy side characters or fillers to fill time! Usually I get frustrated with slow burn romance but donāt feel that here because they are getting to know each other and they have such adorable interactions. Canāt wait for the new episodes to watch their romance progress even though I already know the outcome. Still feel excited and giddy watching it. ā¤ļø

In the book, after the gaming competition she will ask him to stay by her side, he declines saying they belong to two different worlds. He worries that he cannot provide for her, doesnāt have enough time to take care of her. Obviously later regrets this and tries to win her back, successfully of course :) sweet happy ending.

Iām with you there. Best thing about the novel was it only concentrated on the leads, no side stories. Hopefully same in drama. One of my pet hates is side stories of other characters taking away OTP screentime.

For me it was already great at ep1 and prior to this did not even like Dilerebaās previous dramas. I am now converted. TLB has changed my opinion of her. From the start there were already so many action sequences and the plotline was moving along fine that I didnāt feel bored. Some of the best scenes are already in the first 6 episodes you watched. The development between the leads getting to know each other is a journey in itself.
When I think the leads are ugly etc then I donāt even bother to start the drama, I mean its not like their face is going to change. But Dilereba and Leo is perfect in this drama, would not have it any other way.
I feel its best if you just drop and move along to another drama that suits your taste if this doesnāt suit you. Watching drama is for entertainment, Rankings and ratings are based on personal preferences, if people enjoy it they will rate it high. If they donāt they move on. It is very subjective. Beauty is also a standard that differs between people. Whatever your PhD tells you is all great in theory. The person who you think is beautiful I may find ugly. We live in a diverse world.
