yeah, this is what we call a toxic bl and its not for everybody lol its perfectly fine to watch shows that are grounded in reality and ask consent for every hand hold and kiss but this is not one of them. if it's not for you, move on. ratings are for acting, production, and plot/storyline. not for personal opinions.

if there was ever a scene in bl where women were completely useless, that scene was it! 🤣

I could go on and on about how these are college students trying to navigate their love lives and making mistakes and about how this is a drama (fiction) therefore it's meant to lead viewers to believe one thing when in fact it's something else but something tells me you have a one track mind. Just a shame that ratings get brought down on a perfectly nice drama by people who don't bother to look at the whole picture.

soooo you gave your review before knowing if he actually raped him or not? which is weird though because it's showing you completed the series even though all the episodes aren't out yet and that night is explained in ep 7 where we find that he was in fact not raped. maybe don't be so quick to judge.

can't say I completely agree. she wasn't coddled and encircled by everyone. her one colleague repeatedly tried to throw her under the bus for supposed nepotism and tried to get her fired. the attorney she worked with at the end yelled at her, ridiculed her, and took her off the case simply because he was an arrogant jerk who didn't like to be challenged. she also wasn't the only autistic representation. her brother was clearly on the spectrum but in a different way. either you got to hung up on how you think autistic people should be represented or you didn't watch the whole series.

right from the start jun xi asked to keep their relationship a secret. tuo would've gladly introduced him as his boyfriend but when he glanced over at jun xi and didn't get any sign of approval he said 'good friend.' he's been in love with jun xi for forever. even though he admires the architect, he's not in love with him.

every single season was absolutely amazing and had me on the edge of my seat with every episode. the ending seemed pretty fitting. it's nice that the surviving characters met with an open happy ending but the sad fact still remains where it shows that squid games wasn't just taking place in south Korea, but all over the world. like Inho said, even if he was eliminated, someone would just take his place. it's a game that never ends and it's foolish to think there was only one location. All in all this was an amazing series!

I feel like he was still a bit of a novice snake handler but, even so, I think anyone would start to panic in that situation. even though your mind is telling you not to move, your survival instinct is telling you to get away. it's sad the snake had to die 😭

in response to the 'why are they smoking so much' comments, I have a theory. I think that Chi Cheng is a smoker and Suo Wei starts to subconsciously smoke the same brand because it reminds him of Chi Cheng. I don't think he really smokes so that could be why he only smokes it a little bit before putting it out.

adaptations can't always follow the original material. actors aren't always available, scenes cost money, some scenes just aren't physically possible, etc. even in haruki's movie adaptation of their story he had them saying goodbye and hugging on a beach which didn't happen that way for them when they parted ways. and in your original comment you had said that bl's should show a positive outlook, hence my previous comment.

I understand where you're coming from but bl's don't always give positive outlooks. there are tines when they show the reality of gay relationships and marriage which are, unfortunately, not always the bright and cheery relationships we see on screen. while it's hard to watch, it is the reality for some couples and, by raising awareness, laws and opinions can hopefully change for the better.

not sure why their safety is laughable? if people didn't take risks we wouldn't have any bls/bromances or danmei from China. while it's not outright banned in Hong Kong people still run the risk of being arrested or penalized. the reason for the names not being on here is all speculation though.

if mark rushed in to help Tong then Nakan would definitely know it's Tong who has the golden blood. he assumed it was 'a boy named Tonkla' since Tong impersonated him at the party. Nakan probably didn't bother to take note of his appearance.
