I don't know about y'all but I feel like Mico's reaction was reasonable since Xavier really just comes across as someone who likes to joke around. Also, Mico seems to be a bit insecure and scared of relationships(I think? Bec of what happened to his parents?). Xavier's reaction, too, was reasonable since, base on his internal dialogue, it seems like he's still a bit confused. So when he saw that Mico laughed, he might've felt like what he was doing, thinking, and, maybe, feeling are ridiculous.
Both of their reactions are realistic if you ask me. Especially, if you think about it being set in the PH. I do, however, agree that they're both dumb emotionally. I was legit shouting at my screen during that scene.
I hope Crystal doesn't get THAT hurt and becomes THAT kind of woman in BLs though. It seemed like she has a clue already and, idk, I just felt like she'll accept it whatever Xavier decides on.

I agree. I was fine with this ending at Ep 10. I'm getting nervous thinking about how they'll be able to stretch the plot to Ep 13 without ruining it. I just hope they really continue with the good writing. So far, they've managed to suprise me every episode.
The 24th of July is like Christmas to me: Taylor dropped her 8th album, the director confirmed that the series is extended up to Ep 13, and then the Ep 9 came. Ep 9 brought us some really fluffy moments but also brought with it a totally realistic problem. However, despite that problem, this episode really made me smile and laugh so much. Gameboys is back to its old cringey self HAHAHA.
Tbh, I really have no idea how they're going to stretch the plot up to Ep 13 without dragging things and, maybe, ruining the series. I'm a bit nervous. But I guess I just have to trust the production because so far, they've suprised me every episode.
I didn't know Tony could sing :O I felt the song. I was honestly expecting he'd say "Crystal" when Mico asked who the song was for. I WASN'T READY!!! That ending made me say "Hala???!!!" as loud and breathy as "BabyNiGav" did!!!
The cinematography in the final scene is EVERYTHING. Such a beautiful way to end the episode <3 JC's acting got way better in this episode. A bit more natural now. However, Tony's seems to be the same. Hope he gets more natural in the next few episodes.

You have to keep an eye out for Gaya sa Pelikula(Like in the Movies). They released the script for the first 3 episodes in Wattpad to hype the people and it was so good. It's written by a gay man so it has so much representation in the plot while still being cutesy like the Thai BLs that we're so accustomed with :)

I'm thinking of explaining the cultural relevance of courtship(Panliligaw) to the Philippines and why the last scene in EP 1 was far more impactful to the Filipino BL fans, especially the gay ones, than to foreign viewers <3 I just don't know if y'all banyagas (foreigners) would be interested in it hahaha

Tine has been very stressed out as he was overthinking things.
Also, with Mil. I feel like he's dealing with Mil a lot differently with how he dealt with Green because Mil scares him. Green was at least cutesy. Mil was creepy.

It's probably the editing. I have the same sentiments. Ep 1-7 were pure awesomeness. Especially 1-4. Ep 4 was actually what made me fall in love with the series. From Ep 8 they've been cramming too much plotline in 1 episode and the editing made it worse. The storytelling suffered badly from then on.
Them not kissing often on the other hand may have something to do with this being a PG 13 series. So it's all light and fuzzy only. I'm still expecting them to do at least 1 make out scene tho lol.
