That was my first reaction as well when I first heard the news, but since it came from multiple reputable sources, I figured it was real so I put it up here :)
As far as I know, it's actually not an April fools prank. Firstly, it was released 3 days before April Fools, secondly it's literally caught fire on the web and the news can be found even on Facebook News.
