Pretty decent

The first episode was pretty decent. The only thing that really struck me was how utter crazy the main female lead is.



I also found how having a liquor store was seen as a bad thing. I hadn't encountered that in Kdramas before, especially since everyone loves drinking their soju whenever they feel bad.

Not bad, but not exceptional like the first episode.

I'd like to see more reason as to why Toru is starting to like

Sawaki Chihiro.

Wait...WHAT?

Wait, so a guy is about to beat up and potentially rape you, but is NOT put in prison? Instead you continue to work with him? And this is okay with her husband? I'm really, really confused about this drama. It has great parts but then it also has parts that make you go wtf.

WOW! Best first episode of any drama to date!

This honestly felt like a final episode. I hope the future episodes can be this action packed and tense.

The episode dragged a little in the middle, but the ending really made up for it! Can't wait to watch more.

I can't say this was a great episode. In fact, I felt like it was kind of a downer since they weren't getting customers after their wonderful opening night. I hope things start picking up for them!

Best Episode 1 I've ever seen.

Honestly, this is the best episode 1 of any drama that i've seen. It had me hooked from the very get go.

I was BLOWN away by the first episode. Was really sucked in from the first moment. I felt really immersed in the world of someone who considers herself to be ugly. Can't wait to see what the next episodes bring.

I loved the Mother to Son heart-to-heart talk Gi Tae had with his mother. I also really enjoyed how Jang Mi and Gi Tae's mother are becoming closer. It feels like the iciness between them has finally melted.



Now as for Yoon Reum, I still think it was a bad idea for Jang Mi to open up a restaurant with him. What were they thinking?

Weird shirt...

The weirdest thing in this episode was not the plastic surgery obsessed woman. Nope. It was the shirt that Gi Tae was wearing towards the end. The "No More Lies" shirt that sort of looked like a dress shirt mixed with a graphic tee.



Now onto the actual episode, I loved how Jang Mi did her best to help Gi Tae with the Plastic Surgery obsessed girl, since it showed that even though they weren't together, they still loved each other.

Why bail out that loser?

Why would you still have feelings for someone who had you arrested for stalking...

Also, the main leads family is truly messed up. Who spies on their nephews like that?

Awkward....

Did she just kiss her uncle? Also, the way she was talking to her uncle about her body kind of weirded me out. Even if they weren't Uncle and Niece before, they are in that timezone. Somewhat creepy =/

Surprisingly BORING episode 1

I'm not sure why this drama didn't really draw me in from the first minute. The first half of this episode had me yawning, and I wasn't sure why this had such a high score. The second half of the drama was much more entertaining, but not enough to be given a 9+ score on MDL. I hope the next episodes get better and better, until i see why this is scored this highly.

Cute wedding

Pregnant women and wine should NOT go together. That was what was going through my mind when I saw Toko-chan drinking the red wine. Other than that, incredibly cute episode.

Cold storage

The cold storage scene had me laughing. "I want you", and everything else was hilarious. I also enjoyed seeing the old cook working with Eisuke :)
