There’s enough material here for a typical 16 ep drama but I guess 12 ep made it focused more as a Mi Ji’s story. In a way this is also good because it kept Mi Rae and Se Jin’s arc at more arm’s length. PBY has been incredible here, but seeing her intimate with 2 MLs would have messed with my head.. Probably.
I have to check we are not even one third of the way through a 40ep drama. All this theorising made it seemed like I’ve finished an 80ep drama already 😆
While the English title is "Our Unwritten Seoul", the Korean title is more meaningful and also explains the ending…
I’m not sure I understood everything still but for sure Seoul was one of the unspoken highlight for me, having recently visited after so many years watching in kdrama.
Ep11 was such a great episode, packed with great moments, both powerful and mundane 🥹 This is already a 10 for me, but I wish I can give it an 11 now. Hosu’s mum just knocked it out of the park, not once, but twice. And Gyeong gu and Mi ji, I can watch them interacting for the whole day.
