Basically with this drama, if someone looks bad on first impression it’s probably red herring, if someone looks good, they are probably bad, the better they act, the worse they are 😅

I’ve actually seen ZL in a few dramas and she always commanded the screen but the first was Hidden Love where she was a great mum to ZLS. So watching LLTG next was a great shock!

Yes, WZR was a bit more one dimensional in LON, whereas here drama is trying to sell her antagonism as coming from a place of love. I know some commentators have been pretty harsh on her but I’m keeping an open mind to see what drama serves up and enjoying the journey.

I do so enjoy watching introverts fall in love sometimes, it’s gonna be so much fun lol

Both are great actresses, and yes, somewhat similar looking.
Wen Zheng Rong also played a very similar role in Love of Nirvana, which left a deep impression, so I knew what to expect 😅

That’s definitely some comedy even tho it doesn’t have funny bgm

From her perspective it must have sounded like he’s saying “I’m the string you’re the kite obey me” 😅

I’ve hate watched till ep35 with help of FF, but now really struggling to finish it off. Think I’ll just jump to final ep and be done with it lol. What will I miss between 36-39?

I’m on ep4,5 where the Victoria Park misunderstanding is starting. I’ve watched a couple of similar dramas such as Filter and the Beauty Inside with similar face confusion plot but it’s not a plot device that I enjoy I guess.
