I feel a lot of these might not be apparent to her up front compared to us watching as omniscient viewers. What don’t get is Chi Xue who put her in this position in the first place but then had no issue following Xuan Ye to the underground city after that?

I’ve started and dropped so many short dramas recently because they just didn’t hook me. Started this due to the high rating and it didn’t disappoint! Great characters, usage of tropes and production values so far.
