I just started watching the donghua and I have to say it’s sufficiently different to still be enjoyable in rewatch and it’s more linear and gradual in introducing a lot of the concepts and progression that the drama tend to gloss over.
I think most of the budget went to battle scenes because I think the battle scenes are impressive! Well shot and…
Someone commented before there was a deleted scene of XJ riding there. They pre-planned where HY will decoy enemy general to maximise her chance of delaying him while the main army gain control over the enemy leaderless army.
IKR?! It's basically like MMH without the BFF- Husband trauma and betrayal.
Well it has the double go back in time, toxic frenemy and also trying to avoid the ex the second time around, but yah, more light hearted and less traumatic
I'm not sure if she is a great actress so that we all hate her or simply 'oh look at me I'm so innocent' type…
I think she’s a good actress coz I’m at ep12 where she ended up in a second rate uni and honestly I’d be sympathetic if only drama will give her an actual redemption arc and character growth
This show remind me of Watashi no Otto to Kekkon Shite, with elements such as double go back in time, toxic frenemy and also trying to avoid the ex the second time around
I think the worse was when an actor appeared as Emperor in two concurrent dramas…
Haha yes! It was giving me whiplash they were such different emperors lol. What’s more amazing is when I see the actor’s bio, I’ve basically seen all of his last 8 dramas.
ok lets talk. Novel readers talk to me bec i know ppl who havent read it, dont really care abt what happened in…
I felt like drama just dramatise this scene for extra angst. And tbh it kinda worked coz when they were standing across the bridge looking at each other, I could felt her guilt and his pent up frustration and helplessness from his parents death, creating a chasm between them as symbolised by the broken bridge. But actually I thought they were quite level headed in the aftermath, HY knew her Dudu needed some time to process this, so they just gave each other some space without unnecessary drama or burning any bridge.

changed this. Seeing him playing music in front of so many enemies I knew logic wasn’t a primary consideration lol.
