I don’t think I’ve enjoyed the fluffy romance side of a cdrama this much since..maybe TBT.

Maybe it’s the way the role is written. Interested to hear your thoughts who else you see in the role and what she can bring differently to it.

Haha I think the donghua’s Han Li will start looking even more like a photo realistic YY in coming seasons…

At the rate subsequent season get done in c-ent, YY will really have to achieve immortality to finish it 😅

Haha yes I’ve noticed a few that kept popping up. You know a drama is getting popular when you get these seals of disapproval.

So basically we need another 10 seasons or so 😅

So they actually never reach that scene from ep1 again in drama

I thought Dafeng was a more cohesive drama.

Even Wang Chan is kinda campy. Only YunLu seems to be playing it straight.

Yeah if you’re ONLY looking for romance then you probably won’t enjoy both…but still, in this drama YY has a few nice scenes with various ladies lol

There will always be exceptional cases, if you think about historical figures like Napoleon or Joan of Arc, they are probably not known for physicality as well.

Have you watch King’s Avatar? That has even less romance than this 😅
This show actually YY has some nice dynamic with various lady admirers, though it’s quite restrained and limited screen time.

Put a sword in her hand and she’ll dance like nobody’s watching 🤣

Yeah ppl think bulking up is like drinking magic potion but in reality imagine trying to do it healthily within the timeframe while maintaining a demanding shooting schedule for a fighting heavy drama like this.

Yeah I remember seeing him in a lot of movies too. So random seeing him again here after so many years.
