But the almost the whole problem in the drama is miscommunication 😭😭😭

If I remember correctly the male lead died. But the novel includes some extra chapters ( fanwai) which is a happy ending. I read the novel after getting hooked by this drama. But I kinda regret my decision. I have to say that the drama plot line is more polish and pleasing. Although the direction of the plot is the same, the way they delivered it is different. The novel is way more torturous to me.

So just before the ending, she was in coma because of his brother. Basically, it was during his grandma party. Their couple life was happy but the only thing that get on my nerve was his mother. Then, I realized his “ mother” wasn’t his mother. She was just someone his dad marry in order to make his birth legitimate. And his brother and sister was basically his cousin ( that “mother” was pregnant with his uncle). The story ends with she waking up from her 2 months coma. The epilogue ends with them having 3 children and going back to the old manor to worship. This is a happy ending it’s just the happy ending is too short.

The drama is easier to understand and more straightforward than the novel. The novel setting was in modern times. However, the female lead has a memory of her past life. I believe she was dreaming about him and those events that happened. I don’t think there’s a time skip though. Their relationship was kinda smooth because there’s no misunderstanding. She believes him unconditionally because of her past life. However, his family is complicated and his mother doesn’t acknowledge her. The ending of the novel can be said to be a happy ending but it’s more like an open ending. I think the drama would portray it better than the novel because it was clearer.

I am still debating with my friends because they claim that the show is an incest theme.

I think if we don't mind what's actually going on with the plot it is quite enjoyable because the more you think about it the more you won't understand. I agree, it's actually the plot line not the actors' fault that this big production turned out like this. But again people have different view. Many people like this though, while many are kinda hate/anti it since the first episode, somehow.

well, the only thing that most of his roles had in common is being rich. However, the characteristic of those roles are so different, but what can we do if other people think his characters are all the same. I mean he looked at the script and the character's description before choosing the project, and he won't choose the same thing (roles).

I am hoping too because he might change the past by killing his kid self and Lee Lim. Noo, then it means JTE and LG will never meet.

I am more afraid than excited... because the possibility of LG and JTE not meeting again is very high. Noooooo, I can't handle a sad ending.

I watch a few episodes of each one of those hit dramas but it’s just not my type so I just don’t bother making any comments. Lol

Simply because just like how you don't like this drama. I don't like her other dramas. No offense but people have different taste. So this is just my opinion.

Well some people enjoy that soju type of plot while some don't. To me, this is the only drama written by Kim Eun Sook that I am obsessed with. I didn't even bother watching Goblin, Descendant of the sun, or Mr. Sunshine.

I also like that drama (W: two world) to be honest. I suggest my friends to watch it a few years ago and now I recommend them to watch TKEM. The funny thing is my friends who don't understand W storyline also don't understand TKEM. They keep asking why I am watching those weird K-dramas with messy plot. Maybe it's just because I have different taste.

At some point (a few episode later), you won't be able to predict what's going on because it's not "all romance stuff". If you find it interesting, you might like it a few episodes later. If not, then you'll find it boring because this is quite different from other drama. Now (ep 13 previews), it is time travel in parallel universe. So, this drama is kinda complicated. However, despite all the negative comments, this is my favorite drama so far.
