So far, I've found the way her ex-boyfriend treated her during their relationship inhumane; he broke up with her via text message and ignored her when she tried to contact him.
I'm very happy that she met a welcoming and caring person like the doctor, but it's quite likely that her ex-boyfriend will reappear, either repentant or to cause more problems. I'd prefer he didn't show up again, but I know he will.
This is one of those dramas where you're grateful you read the novel beforehand and already knew the story. I find it distressing to have to wait to see only one episode per week.
I'm on episode 16. I started laughing in the first few episodes, and now I don't know what to feel anymore after everything that's happened.
I just need to vent: the scene where he's hiding and can only watch his own friend being killed for not betraying him, and then when Gu Jiu Si breaks down with Liu Yu Ru... that destroyed me for a moment.

This scene really touched me, I think mainly because of Zi Yu's performance, the way he conveyed the emotions and the things he said. It was very moving 🤧

I cried a lot too. The way his mother died, his reaction, the things he said... then there was the funeral, him with such contained grief... I couldn't take it. It's good that Chi Cheng came back to support him 🤧

I thought that the way fans react to negative comments would only make people more resistant and perhaps cause them to lose interest in any future projects these actors might participate in, something that could even change their negative opinion, especially about Namping. And in fact, you said that.
