I don't know what book you're reading, but if they're defining the prefix, pedo, as "sexual attraction to prepubescent children" they got it wrong and need a dictionary and an English class.

SimbiAni, who combusted a couple of times, wonderfully handled the conversation. I really enjoyed what she had to say and I appreciated the way she responded to my comments. No matter what her age is, she is mature, knows when to laugh and knows how to argue her case and defend it well. I have nothing but respect for her.

Pedo - a combining form meaning “child,” used in the formation of compound words
Child - a young human being below the legal age of majority.
Age of majority - The age at which a person, formerly a minor or an infant, is recognized by law to be an adult, capable of managing his or her own affairs and responsible for any legal obligations created by his or her actions.
Age of consent and legal age are different. Age of consent in South Korea is 13, but legal age is 20. That's why people are calling it pedophilia. Not saying it's right, just saying why there's confusion.

In my previous post, I NEVER mentioned anything about age of consent. I mentioned that children less than age 20 are still considered MINORS. I continued in that post about people think the writers, producers and director are deliberately promoting pedophilia. That's one reason why people are complaining about the age difference. I was merely explaining WHY people are complaining...not if it's right or wrong.
Personally, I don't really care about the age difference since she's considered an adult in my country. I'm more focused on whether or not she'll pull out the blade.
