yeah, it's called being pre-produced. A lot of dramas are filmed many months before airing nowdays. I remember the drama "Daily Dose Of Sunshine" that aired in netflix in november 2023 but it was filmed in the summer 2022.
Anyway the reason they delayed this drama is bcs medics/doctors in korea were in a strike or something like that and people were a little angry about them, that's why they are going to air the drama next year.

Only bcs some dramas air on netflix doesnt mean that they're netflix originals. I think many people makes that mistake and confuse korean network dramas as netflix dramas. Probably it's not your case but i wanted to share that sentiment bcs many people never realize that.

Many times they post dramas with the romance tag and then they remove the tag once the drama is over. Simply they don't know for sure until the drama airs. Take the tags as a grain of salt.

Gaus is a masterpiece compared to this drama.
