She's trying hard to keep her family business up. She has a job unless her dad. And canyou imagine how it feels to get closer to being blind day by day? Are there enough activities to be done by such person? Besides they are poor. They can't just choose something as their hobby and chill out! I think what they are portraying here is more close to reality than your demand.
One thing i loved about tjis drama was its dialogs. One thing i wish the script writer didn't do was to relate jinwoo (ML) and tae jungwoon (SFL). If they were not bf and gf back then, the relationship of han gyejeol and han cheol and her (and even kokdu) would've looked better
I personally liked ep 14 a lot. I didn't shed a tear but i liked it. And i think Kim jung hyun should stop playing comedic characters. He's like the king of comedy but his talents are being wasted a bit. Ep 13 & 14 showed his ability in melo dram. Not to mention how jinwoo was a new side of him we had never/ rarely seen
As a not a fully fan but a supporter of the ML, i love soohyang. I understand that some ppl don't like her acting (tho the blame is on her somehow annoying character) but she's a beautiful girl inside out. Those who have negative opinions about her, better to go watch the bts of this drama or watch her interviews. You'll see that she's a lovely person.
And the reason that ratings are low in sokor is simply bc of it gener compared to those with dark or makjang gener like taxi driver, pandora, .... For example heavenly idol doesn't have good ratings. Or AOS, my fav drama which was soooooo popular world wide, couldn't get a double digit!

Oh please. You shouldn't forget about cloy & laughter in waikiki. Besides he was still the main lead in mr queen. Yes 95% of comedy scenes were about sobong, but romance, melodrama, and history parts was fully about kjh. So we can't give all the credits to her only
