This movie was tiring to watch. There was way too much crying and screaming. So repetitive. I was grateful when it was finally over. The only thing I liked about this movie was Nikaido Fumi as Chazawa. She was the one bright spot in this.
I just finished the first two episodes. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. While the acting is...questionable at times the writing isn't half bad.

@TeleriFernchNyfain We'll have to agree to disagree. I thought it was rushed. I didn't see any obvious indication that Deok Sun might like Taek before episode 18. Giving Taek a piggyback ride, giving him a present and choosing his gloves doesn't tell me anything at all. She could have chosen Taek's gloves randomly. She gave him a piggyback ride because he got hurt. She also gave Jung Hwan a present too. None of those hints had meaning until the writer gave them meaning. It's a stretch to say those were obvious signs that she liked Taek romantically. I'm not aware of all hints so maybe there are stronger ones in the show that I missed. Either way, I think the writer and director really shot themselves in the foot by building Taek and Deok Sun's romance on metaphors and hints alone.

@TeleriFernchNyfain I never read the fan theories for Reply 1994 or Reply 1988 when I was actively watching. I went to look at Answer me 1988's fan theories after the show was over. They were an interesting read. I think if the writer had shown Deok Sun developing feelings for Taek on-screen (rather than giving us hints) instead off-screen it would have been easier to swallow. The romantic developments in episode 19 just came across as rushed to me and hard to believe. Were there any obvious hints that Deok Sun liked Taek romantically before episode 18? Because I didn't notice any o.O Too much happened off-screen IMO.
