Surprisingly I enjoy this drama so much! Good story, plot, excellent fighting scenes, comedic and great acting too.

I wish she acted in more dramas or movies or var show. This year she only has 2 dramas. Pershaps few episode of varshow.

SZ is 14 y/o when they’re first met, but acted by different actress. She’s 17/high school when they meet again. Yes, I noticed she talks girlie and childiish at home, but not infront of DJX. I think she did this on purpose. Am asian, and live in the US in the past decade, I noticed girls in general using girlie voice (higher pitched) when talking here too. 🤭

Yes, STT always look on the bright side of life, while ZLQ is look on the gloomy/negative side, first thing he said about Meng2 is telling,. While STT, easily said she has still one more tube what is the problem?

Don’t push yourself if you don’t enjoy it. For me I love every episodes, the characters both ML and FL are indeed not perfect. Both are petty and sad childhood. However their growth are very satisfying. Also I enjoy other characters too. So please dont push yourself to watch.

She’s really good in The Long Ballads, but her latest drama is the best Love Like The Galaxy

It’s an epic love story, with each own flaws bit perfect. Too bad that you didn’t finish the drama. So you don’t see the progress of each characters good and bad.

Looking forward to your comment after finish watching the series. The leads in these drama are not perfect they both have their own flaws. Its story of growing pain, those bad characters needed to see how she’s grown at the end of the drama.

I loved her as Princess Li Le yan at The Long Ballads. The character is so cute and mesmerized by her pretty crying. Cute but elegant, soft but brave. Always have good chemistry with her co star, not only with male lead but with female lead as well, actually I like both cousins. In LLTG her acting with the empress and mother, and her best friend really adorable.

Nevertheless Ling Bu Yi, loves her just the way she is, for him she is the best girl in the world and she is the only one for him. Beautiful love story.

Hmmmm… when I watched this drama the first time, CSS is already smart, her character never shown as stupid , unruly yes, no proper education yes. ML intrigued with her intelligence/intellecet since the first episode. I think Two other male characters, like her for similar reasons. Remember she can calculate the depth of the wells? Definitely not stupid. As for supporting characters they are all needed to show the background of the lead. Both ML/FL both have their own flaws, made them interesting characters.
I need to binge this drama again.

Hear hear… indeed in the beginning she’s acting spoiled (she’s pragmatic, grew up never feel loved by people supposed to love her…)but her character development is something so beautiful to watch/observe. Though LBY loved her first but his vengeance still won, he already decided to leave her at the night before the wedding. Horrific! But these two characters written really beautiful and I could not imagine anyone elses playing them.

Yes, he watched different drama, or perhaps, he/she channeling, princess 3, princess 5, LJT and Wang Ling at the same time. 🤣🤭🤣

The character she played is a 15 yo, not a savvy martial heroine bai feng xi of late 20’s. A 15 y/o supposed to be annoying, stubborn etc.:

I think some dramas can’t be watched fast forward, coz missing the plot of the story, ML has shown interest to FL since ep 1, and fall in love at first sight during Lantern Festival episode. When he proposed infront of Emperor though is not expected but, as an audience i’m swoon! Actually since ep 1, when he praises FL for reporting her family, he already shown his interest. FL only realised her feelings on later episodes (seasons2).
But episodes after the revenge are bit rushed and wishing we can see that grand wedding promised by ML.
