Ah you got me as soon as you mentioned Yu Zheng. 🤭. Never mind. I fully understand your point of view. When you said range of emotion am not sure which dramas of you’ve watched. I first found her as Li Leyan a timid princess and how i enjoyed seing her growth. I didn’t bother to find her name. I watched. The next time I saw her was as Bai Feng Xi, i only realized that she’s the same actress who played as timid princess on the 5th episode! She has no traces as li leyan. The way she carry herself as this bad ass warrior is convincing. When she killed that corrupt governor i was in awe, how cold her stare is. I don’t remember the two characters as funny or comedic . So it is pleasantly surprised to see her as Niao Niao an abandoned, witty and naughty girl. No idea she can be funny too. The way she can cry and drunk differently for each characters to me is really cool. Also i do understand the elitism in c-ent. Yes to many people /critics or c-ent industry she’s just “an internet celebrity “. Because most of her dramas mostly for streaming platforms not

Oh i love TLI, perhaps because I don’t don’t watch many Xianxia genre, this feels like XianXia 101 for me, not to many complicated hierarchies, just 3 realms, time span only around 1000 years not 70000 years, the 4 power rangers interactions are fun. Am not pay attention to CGI, because am not fans of heavy cgi dramas. The OST are lovely. Normally i skip the opening and end credits but enjoyed the both of them singing. Than again its a matter of tastes
