What exactly is keeping the CP going through the miserable life she is living? There is no light at the end of the tunnel she is walking.
Why can't she just let her younger brother be the CP as her father wishes?
I am hoping for an ending like the Handmaiden, with CP faking her death and running off to another country in disguise with her lover.

Why is Park Hasun listed in the main leads? She didn't even have a screentime of 30 minutes combining all her appearances. Neither did her character have any substance or anything great to contribute towards the main storyline. The writers really did her bad with this one.

You are correct about the phone tracing thing. I was expecting that a cop gone missing would cause a little stir.

As much as I enjoyed Squid Game, there were so many things not addressed well.
Close to 450 people vanish from the city in a day and there is no missing person report filed?
The game has been an annual event since 1999(?) but no person ever noticed anything fishy in relation to all these events? No investigation whatsoever?
Why and how did the cop's brother get into this whole game setup?
Was the cop's phone never traced to find out about his whereabouts after that last phone call?

On another note, it is a pity that dramas like these do not get much traction and hype from int'l audience. It's good to see this drama doing well in Korea atleast.

Absolutely loved the first two episodes. Given that it is a twelve episode drama I hope it is able to keep the pace and overall vibe delivered in the start.
