Looking at preview 29, it still involve ML palace policy ic and will probably be resolve at least at episode 32, I don’t think we will be getting FXY story anytime soon

In episode 21-22, we get a glimpse of how Zhao Lu Si can bring her comedy act in a serious drama

So they remove the main genre Wuxia or make it less important , I hope the script writers knows what they are doing lol

But I feel that up to the current episodes, Wuxia genre is secondary compare to politics, hopefully the rest of the episodes have more action. Budget is relative if planned well from the start, this drama is suitable for more than 40 episodes since there are quite a lot of plot to tell

The novel has more battle war scenes with BFX and HFX came out with clever strategies . Compare to the drama, it has more palace politic in it

There was no plagiarism for the novel since it came out 2004. It is the drama script lines that may have some similarities with other dramas
