Sun ho is a noob noob hacker and professor yoo is a noob noob police officer. Sun ho letting his identity get leaked so easily and professor yoo withholding crucial evidence and calling the perpetrator directly instead of tracking them down. What a noob move.
When u say it's a decent drama but then mention-provided we kept our brains switched off..... Kind of self explanatory…
Well there are dramas where you do not need to be very critical like slice of life. Cant be complaining too much about the story in SoL, you just watch without thinking too deeply. But a drama like this where the job is technical and they're doing investigations and stuff small plot holes are quite annoying especially those aspects where the characters feel clueless even in common sense scenarios. That just what I feel. So I tend to constructively criticize rather than flat out bash the series for not doing this or that.
First, to clear things out, this is not one of the worst of dramas, but it aint a master piece either. It a decent watch I'd say if you turn your brains off. The good sides are the somewhat decent chemistry between the male main leads, the setting of the police university, the comedy bits here and there. I get similar vibes to Start Up, both great concepts but lacking execution (Start up better than this tho).
Many things throw me off, but Imaging grown up actors as 17-18 year old freshman kids must be the biggest one. All the professors are patronizing AF but all the actors look like adults and it throws me off every time they act immature idk why. They could've casted young guys like in Racket Boys but who am I to judge the casting.
Another thing, as a CS student, all the computer stuff is a bit off putting. The concept and terminologies are actually semi accurate, but the visual side of thing and execution are meh. But this one will not affect most people and is a personal observation.
Could you for god's sake mark it as Spoiler. Thank You.
They're spoilers to those that haven't watched. To them its a future episode. And what happens in the future episode in current runtime is theories not spoilers.
