Do you recall episode 3 when FL was fighting Goa Qiu, the flash back when was about to kill her before ML stopped her. In that flashback, she was made to pretend to be goa qiu and then ML apparently died. So she feels like he died because of her. So i think there is more to it.

I don't think that is true. I believe he was lied to, and since he doesn't have his memory, he does not know the truth.
And FL didn't exactly forget Xu Yue, it was a single encounter that didn't leave lasting impression on her, i think if he tells her, she might remember. Just like we don't exactly think about everyone we meet daily except for special occasions. And what might be special to one might not be to another.
