HAHAHAHAHAHA good to know somebody else has to go through it too. Haha
On Hotel del Luna Aug 16, 2019
Just saw this on IG.

The production staff of HDL stated, "Never let your guard down. Whatever you're imagining, it will be an 11th episode containing fun and twists that exceeds your expectations."

OK. SURPRISE US! They sure know how to tease! Ugh!

I also checked that blog now from time to time. Haha! That's another charm of HDL. It's mind stimulating. It drives…
I feel you! It has literally become an everyday thing for me. Planning to rewatch it too. For now, I just go on seeing again and again my favorite scenes. It was also because of this drama that I decided to sign up in kisskh just so I can acquaint with other people hooked in it. Glad to meet you here!

My scenario every time especially on weekdays. Always mumbling to myself, "Why did I start watching while it's still airing, why, why, why!" This was the first time I indulge on an airing drama. But now that there are only 6 episodes left, I think it's still a wonderful feeling that I get to watch it with anticipation every after an episode. That way, I feel like the drama and the characters became more special. The attachment and familiarity turned more intense as compared to the K dramas I binged watch in one or two sitting. And for someone like me who has gone through a K drama burnout for a quite a long time, that's great feeling. ;)

Wow, you're few moments away from the beautiful ending scene of Episode 6. I read that's also IU's favorite scene. :)

Call me crazy but I don’t want MW to become human again. I think she is great as this immortal.
Imagine, if she stays immortal and tied in that hotel forever then CS will be reincarnated again and again and again. Wow, what a way to spend different lifetimes with different versions of CS! I'm feeling thrilled now! :)))

Man Weol is a dream role for any actress... 1) you get to wear dozens of gorgeous clothes2) drive exotic cars3)…
Yeah, yeah, yeah! What a different kind of freedom to be able to do such things! Plus despite being all that, she's still loved and cared for not just by CS. I believe she is dear even in the hearts of her 3 regular employees.

I really hope they won't go that route, because it'd make a lame plot twist, huge but it would also be too farfetched…
That's it! I already pictured CS as someone who has the spirit of a child, almost close to being pure and innocent. With his nature established like that, I can imagine that whatever grudges and poison MW feel in her innermost being, CS is the remedy. If the writers would make it so that he is CM all along, the plot would feel really clumsy, typical, and disappointing. I know not everyone will agree with this but it's what I feel.

This are my predictions towards the story after ep 10U dont have to read if u dont want to so don't pour hate…
I see your point. Well, anything is possible. But I really hope it won't happen. I hope the writers won't do it just to create an impact. I wanna bet that they can still come up with a better twist. Oh please!!!

OMG YOUR COMMENT IS CUTEST THING EVER ❤❤
Thanks! Let's hope for more cute and sweet moments from the upcoming episodes. They better give us some more after all those painful moments from the last two episodes. Haha
On Hotel del Luna Aug 8, 2019
Since the preview of Episode 9 left me with more questions about the destiny of the characters and the plot as a whole, I can't stop myself from playing the preview almost everyday. I'm finding myself so engaged with this drama. But it's only today that I interpreted it differently.

To be honest, the first time I saw the preview, I assumed right away that the Herbalist Ma Go gave CS a food that when eaten, will shut down his ability to see ghosts and Hotel Del Luna. With this, he can finally move on and start again with no obligations connected to ghosts, hotel, and even Man Wol.

Ma Go: “If you eat that, you won’t be able to see ghosts or Hotel Del Luna.”
CS: Man Wol is such a cruel woman. Even so, I’m hesitating because she is someone I like.

Imagine getting that freedom again and a chance to get back to being an elite hotelier? Why hesitate then? Well, we already know the answer to that. Since the woman she likes is tied to Hotel Del Luna, then his inability to find the hotel is almost equivalent to not seeing Man Wol unless it is she who will decide to show up herself. Which at this point, she won't most likely do given the fact that she already decided to walk away and left him with no closure whatsoever. Imagine making a heartfelt promise: "Whether this place is a prison or fence to you, whatever you decide to do, I will be here with you." And then boom! Waking up from a 3-day sleep with no Man Wol, no hotel, no other things like note or letter of explanation. That must be so painful! Though not really without a souvenir. To say the least, Man Wol somehow managed to leave the painting which I believe is dear to CS. The painting which I think he intentionally didn't sell despite Man Wol's frequent follow up and markdown price. (Haha! How cute were those painting discussions between them! )

On the preview, we saw CS walking inside the hotel again, and Man Wol was shocked to see him. I'm not sure if it that's the same hotel we know or if it's a hotel in a new location but with the same interior. What I'm sure is, Man Wol didn't expect CS to suddenly appear there.

WHY?

Is it because they moved to a new location now? Or could it be that she thought it's already impossible for CS to find the hotel because she's really the one who left the "antidote for ghost seeing" so that CS can live normally again? After all, she already said her goodbye while CS was asleep.

MW: Goo Chan Sung??!
CS: You don’t know that you let it behind, right? Even though you always have it with you.

(Another translation I saw: "When you leave, you don't know this, do you? How long have we been together?") Umm. I'll take the first translation.

Though I'm still not sure what is it that MW left behind, right now my feelings seem to tell me that CS is referring to that "food antidote". If we'd try to go back to the earlier episodes where CS was still unwilling to take the general manager position at Hotel Del Luna, he had tried multiple times to convince Man Wol to just let him go and take back the gift she gave her--- the ability to see ghosts. And if I remember it correctly, there was even a point when Man Wol replied, "Do you really think I can still take that back? Am I the Almighty? You'll have to live with that. Even if you run from here, can you still function well in a normal hotel now that you can see ghosts?"

If Man Wol has this "antidote" all along but she refused to give it to CS, he could think then that it's really out of fancy and fondness that she kept CS by her side. That she didn't really want to push him away. If that's the case, I'd like to assume that he needed to find MW again to ask her personally and clarify things with her:

"You don’t know that you let it behind, do you? Even though you always have it with you."

If MW would say she didn't know she let it behind, then she did not intend to totally cut ties with him. But if MW would say, she intentionally left the antidote so that CS can finally say goodbye to ghosts and his life in Hotel Del Luna, then it must have hurt so much to Chan Sung's fragile heart whose desire is to stay together with Man Wol. It must be why the last part of the preview was CS returning the pin and walking away. Then MW running at calling after him. Then a voice over of CS saying, "I am not going back to that place again."

Let's note Ma Go's voice over too but on this one, I saw different translations. I'm confused which one is the most accurate.

OPTIONS:
Ma Go: I should give you the chance to be abandoned, too.
Ma Go: I should give you the chance to abandon her too.
Ma Go: You have to give him a chance to let it go.

But of course, let's not forget how the writers and preview editors love to mislead us just so the revelations will come with more impact. I can only assume but I still can't fully trust my interpretations. I just have to voice these out to lessen my anxiety from all this waiting and thinking. It's Friday already and Episodes 9 and 10 are now around the corner but why do I feel like the nearer the days the longer the waiting process seems to feel.

Tbh I don't think Man Wol deserves the 1000 years of punishment. Chung Myung and the princess were way crueler…
I totally agree with you. :)

Laughing at myself now. How on earth did I type HTD when I meant HDL ?! Haha
