So... the very last scene. Can we take it as a first step into a possible 2nd season of "Manner of Death" 😅 Please?!

Really? Hmm, well some parts look typical, but others really don't. It now only depends on which parts will have the upper hand :D
I'm just really hyped simply bc of said non-typical scenes!
But yeah, pls no repeat of DSN. So much potential wasted.

The only bummer is the kiss. Again. Only one. Wasted on a one-sided moment. One mutual kiss at the end would've been so much better and would've left me with a much more fullfilled feeling.

Yes I hope so. But I'd say the Ep11 curse is only related to first seasons.
The 2nd season curse is always being given a story, where we don't see the couple grow stronger together. AS A COUPLE. But individually / separately and then find each other again towards the end. (Sometimes it even feels like a revival of S1.)
Sure, both scenarios are realistic, but it's getting slightly frustrating that they always seem to choose the second scenario. Meaning we usually see more of them being broken apart instead of being together :/

There's the famous Ep11 curse and I think there's also a 2nd season curse.
They almost never choose a story were the main couple stays a couple, they always have to break them apart somehow.

No idea, sometimes I feel like 2nd seasons only "ruin" things... at least I always feel anxious when they're announced. Happy. But anxious. And seems like this trailer just confirmed it xD yet again... still have a "We Best Love" trauma ^^ aaah boy.
But let's wait and see... other than this clichee issue for a 2nd season it does look good. Though now I'm gonna wait for the last ep. Unfortunately I really don't cope well with sad endings.

I see the problems of the show, but I still really loved it and would be so happy about a 2nd season. Just this time with a proper plot :D But yes, loved it.

But that's it! Every 2nd season usually mainly focuses on relationship issues, usually ending in a temorarily break-up or long distance.
But I'd love a 2nd season with a proper plot without the focus being on any issue in their relationship other than normal fights and stuff. There just needs to be a proper plot with a different focus. I'd love that for once. If not here, with any other show then :D

I won't tie you to a chair and force you to watch a potential 2nd season. Promise. Or any show that is. But maybe you could find it in you to simply let me enjoy it!? Not that it matters, but still.

Jup, agreed. I get that the point was Dao not paying attention to Phoon, and it's fair that he doesn't appreciate Kluen to hit Phoon for it, but he came off so agressive. I mean also fair enough there're a lot of confusing emotions in him right now, so his reaction was a bundle of a lot of things, but Kluen did try to "help" or "defend" him after all.

Dunk's way of acting reminds me a little of Gun's way of acting in "Golden Blood". Not bad, but I just don't get too warm with it.
I definitely found it harder to get used to Gun (I think I never did). Sure it's also due to their characters srsly being angry - bc these are the moments I esp. don't fancy too much - not bc they're agree tbw, but bc of the way they express their anger. I just find it ... too much or rather too explosive & loud most of the time?! Esp. in GB. There're not enough ep. yet with S&S, so like I said so far it just reminds me.

Sounds harsher than I mean it, I promise (well with Dunk that is, Golden Blood's really wasn't for me - but hey, that's my problem. Happy for everyone who loved it the way it was :) )

Well, I still reeeeally love the show :D

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one not paying ANY attention to this fanservice. Or anything about the show except the show itself. Be it CP, 2G or any other show. I find it too cringy and weird. Well and wrong. So I'm never searching for Bts stuff and whenever a random TikTok about it pops up, it also immediately disappears in the vortex again :D

But yes, this fanservice needs to disappear. You're colleagues, you made a series or movie, that's all I need to know and see. And even if someone eventually will be more, than that should be private as well or at least their choice.

I suppose it's a language "barrier". In English you wouldn't tell your partner that you love him by using both their names. I mean you could, but who does. Excepts for a joke or whatnot. Or if you're a toddler ^^ In Thai it seems to be a common thing though. So I'd think the translator wanted to make it sound more "natural" for English speakers!?

True. Because they usually generalize. There can be issues and red flags with every relationship. Age gap or not. And some act like an age gap in itself is always already a problem in itself.
My own parents are 9 years apart and now married since 1987 - so... 35 years! Apparently it can work just fine :D

But... I don't know what it is... while watching a western show I usually don't care if I've seen an actor in a different role already (except if they've played a role for years like with the actors of Vampire Diaries or Supernatural).
But when it comes to Thai actors it sometimes needs getting used to pairings when two actors from different shows get to act together. Like with Mike & Kirst here xD It makes no sense, I know.
Maybe it's bc of the insane fanservice Thais offer (though I try to avoid it, it too fake, kind of cringy to me or just seems not right)!? Or maybe bc there aren't THAT many actors for the main roles after all and we see the same faces over & over again (not complaining though).

I just know I'll find it weird at first seeing Mike & Krist together and really have to get used to it.

The 1st couple is literally perfect! Especially for a BL drama couple! LiCheng & MuRen have so much chemistry, are communicating with each other and them developing feelings and realising them comes in a good pace. I think they're my fav. couple of all times.

The 2nd couple. Haaa, no. Toxic. Like conceringly toxic, not the normal drama toxic, which pretends to be normal. And no I don't mean the Step-brother issue, that I don't even mind that much tbh, but the younger guy needs therapy asap. For a couple of reasons.

So let's just focus on LiCheng & MuRen <3
...and hope for Lu & Sun to have 2nd season! Loved them in here :)

Though I felt we have to separate both couples. LiCheng & MuRen are everything but problematic - they are surprisingly healthy!
The other two... not so much. And nope, I don't mean the step-brother thing. That I don't even mind, but the younger definitely needs therapy for lots of reasons x)

Right!? I wished they'd come up with anything slightly more original. Especially since no one is too keen of seeing lovers being "pulled apart" all the time.

Anyway, forget it. Lost cause. Just try not to make it a habit spitting into other's soups & try to be more open.
