A girl like me was female centric and he has no chance to show his power apart from cute image. BFTB makes people notice his visual in idol drama. Then Wangye happened and industry noticed his acting skill. Xiaohou is active in industry for 9 years and xianxia and wuxia are popularized internationally, he appeared only from BFTB and people noticed him for the first time in FOF. I myself knew Neo since he was 18 but never checked his works. When watching FOF, I thought the ML familiar in my eyes and I figured it out it was Neo after few episodes.
I didn’t recognize his face in FOF, but it is because of loosing his cheek fat and makeup. You can look at him back in the days when he appeared in Cambrian period or Let go of my baby, his features are beautiful since then. Xiaohou face is so easy to change by hairstyle and makeup. He looks sexy and handsome in long hair (Luxiaolu and zaizai) when he tie his hair in Tianyao or lujinglai, he becomes cute little bun. short hair makes his face look square. In ZYZ, he looks older with his 3 stroke grey hair and dark makeup. In Xiaobaili, although they are in the same year with ZYZ, he looks so young and bright. Honestly Pei Qinghua makeup looks him no near to his usual beautiful face, he has tan skin and shade of mustache, his acting makes me fall in love with character, he doesn’t afraid to show the flaws if the character is needed.

Because I follow his good friends and I knew him since he was 18, I noticed Neo since he was 18 too. They were always together back then in Days Days Up, Fresh Go group and some ceremony or photo shoots, I noticed Neo because of his beautiful face. I never forget Neo face and his name since then. But I really never encounter his works. I know his good friend got good treatment and getting works. I once read about article about his good friend telling about he got backstabbed by his friend and having issues with his old agency. After I become Neo fan, I did the things I never did before like opening mdl account (always checking drama plot before didn’t even bother to read comments) use translate and read weibo post, download xhs app. So far, I learned about there is some issue between Neo and him.
