The only person who is not toxic AF is the ML, and even he has problems. The FL is wishy washy strong one min weak as hell the next... The rest of the families are either out right toxic or allow the toxic behavior which is toxic in itself ..except maybe the ML father

I smelled a trap with that husband and wife story line. I KNEW they were gonna do something stupid with her character. She missed him...FOH ...he was strait dirt! ...I'm not about to fall down THIS rabbit hole... Thanks for the heads up!

The minute you say cancel culture your saying that people should not be held accountable for their actions. Cancel culture is a term used by racist, bullies, and mean people who do like the fact that everyone has a choice in whether or not they want to support or spend money or time on you anymore. These same people want to be able to cancel but they don't want to BE canceled. They want to take the choice from others. There is no danger in people making their own choices in who they want to support. Just like you can choose to forgive and continue to support the actor, others can choose not to. The only danger is when people say that others should not have the freedom of choice.

I'm old, I want a happy ending. If I want sad endings watch the news. If I want realism , I watch the news. I watch dramas to feel happy. That is the need they fulfill for me. Real life is harsh enough. I don't need nor want to watch things where there is no hope, no brightness, no shining light at the end of the dark tunnel. I've gotten to the point in life where I crave the joys in life rather than the dark. The dark surrounds us all of the time in the real world because real life in uncontrollable. You never know when bad things are going to happen. So I choose to be entertained by happy thoughts. Like music, or books, or anime, dramas can affect the frame of mind. So I choose to have a positive frame of mind at all times. Under no circumstances do I chose depression, sadness or dark thoughts. It's all about my mental health. That's why I personally keep it bright.

Yea... I don't care about that unless there was a clear cut happy ending... I know real people with dementia so this is not anything I would ever like. I think that if this is the drama for you go for it. Enjoy. I love the ML actor because I'm a fan of his but this story just isn't nor ever will be my cup of tea.

He loses his intelligence and the woman knows it. That would be devastating for me in her shoes. It's sad Every time. I have never liked the story even if it's a classic . The idea of losing your mind in any form is horrific to me... and more like a horror movie... or like Alzheimer's watching the person who was there disappear... but that just me though

I'm all about throwing sexual sicko's to the wolves but, there is a problem with this one. They have footage of her voluntarily kissing him... now that doesn't mean that there wasn't some kind of team up later or she said no when things were too much for her and they didnt stop. But adding that footage to inconsistent testimony and there is enough to question the whole situation... Having been on a jury for a murder trial I can tell you that if they had to hash it out for TWO days. There was a whole lot more evidence saying he should be acquitted then convicted, but sadly we are not privy to the whole case. I would love to grind him into the dirt for it if it's true and he did something sick AF but something must have been off for them to let him go, I'm pretty sure the Footage cinched it though ....

They are US citizens so, the courts will do what ever they can to get the father a special visa. No matter how they got here I know that family is everything to Chinese people and the Chinese government will not want to look heartless. They will work something out.

They will not end up in adoption unless the father abandons them because the courts in the US will do what's best for the children. For her to take suck a strong stand against wanting to raise children with this guy. Their relationship must have ended in an all out war. She will probably regret her decision down the road.

This was great drama! I loved the sisterhood, the food, the mother in law. The main Characters, the story line, I had a lot of fun and it's perfect if you just want to watch something that will make you happy. My daughter binged she enjoyed it so much. I will rec commend this to people who like fluffy dramas and happy endings

If it doesn't have a happy ending I'm not watching it. I've learned my lesson on that. If I want to see sad ending I'll watch the news and be depressed . I don't need anything that makes me depressed. That's just me tho...

Good to know, I always like to give the actor more chances. Sometimes the directors interfere with actors choices and it throws them off... I'll keep and eye out for her, thanks

I think it's the way they (meaning Chinese people) talk to each other, poetically and in parables when they are serious. but don't quote me on that... I only come to that conclusion because I needed a letter written once and I found out that it was serious business, you could easily offend someone, so I got a friend to write one for me. I gave them the letter with what I wanted to say and and my friend wrote it the way it should have been said. Afterward the people that the letter was for were very interested in who wrote the letter for me because they were pleased....

Lead Couple works out but people die and it's depressing as AF

They both go to the future he arrives as a adult she as a baby ..so he's gonna havta raise her ... It's weird but if you understand his character you know he wouldn't touch her in anyway until she is an adult... In fact she wouldnt have a hint of how he would feel about her and he wouldt feel any sexual way until she was an adult... it's a lot to read into it but again you would have to pay attention to his character ... but admittedly ...it's kinda weird ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
