Esther is fliming a new drama in September in hengdian... her schedule is only free in August. If she starts shooting her new drama i don't think she will have time to promote this drama and this drama is definitely more fitted for summer. I just hope Iqiyi don't pull another MJTY era and treat her well.

So excited for this omg i've always wanted another Wuxia drama for Esther, she was so great in MJTY. Yun weishan was played so tragically beautiful by her i absolutely loved her crying and action scenes in that drama although imo the only well written character in that drama was Gong yuanzhi but my second fav was still her character. Hope the scriptwriter in this drama gives justice to her character and the ending doesn't end like MJTY. I believe she can play any character but still needs more dramas to prove that(not saying i don't love her in cute roles because Ling miaomiao is the only funny character i enjoyed after Mr.queen but she excels her acting in angsty roles more). I'm glad she's taking such roles now.. hope she proves her critics and haters wrong🤞

Can we stop comparing this to whatever that culpa tuya movie was?😭 this has its original Novel and it has a better storyline. SAL has the "Two broken souls fixing each other" plot and its written in a way that's enjoyable. It has some explicit bed scenes towards the end of the novel but they may not be flimed... it's CHINA afterall but some kissing scenes are like the major plot here if it doesn't pass the censorship it will ruin the drama, well atleast for me.

Even if some are predicting for August Iqiyi has already scheduled many big ip dramas for that month, Esther will be the busiest in September again because she's starting to shoot new drama in that month. October or November most likely but this drama is most suited for August 😭. They took poster pictures until late night today so i may be wrong ... they won't take poster pictures this early if they're going to air it in November

LBFAD was a small ip drama not a big budget drama. It only upgraded to S+ level because of its success and the cgi is also bad. I believe its because of the leads, their chemistry and the ost. And xianxia plots were all new to cdrama watchers at that time. They need a huge budget and a creative screenwriter to make everything new to make a good xianxia these days.

But even though fued is hiting 10k it far away to reach the viewership of LBFAD. Even baijingting and yushuxin drama though not a xianxia pulled over 60 million views in the airing day last year but still didn't reach 10,000 while in comparison to that drama fued's viewership is still low even lower than lulu's Moonlight mystique. MM didn't hit 10k but fued did. Dk how this data works anymore.
