Zi Jing Lan is the emperor's personal guard ,he is one of the best fighter and his outfit and attire is just like that.
Cha Shuo Xun is an antisocial,crazy villain,in anime his hair color was fully red and curly and he wear earings but drama team can't give him same style because that is a japanese anime.But still they gave him a perfect villainous look.

A specific user has problem everything related to deng wei .I know everyone has their own preference but it's not first time.
At first she said she find boring deng wei's character in upcoming drama: lost you forver(she reads the manga which is not completed yet) she wanted her to end up with her cousin , The reason for her not liking is not the character design but for the actor. let it goo,
when deng wei rumored for Si Ming with Tong Jie then she said she wanted a new fresh face lol,DW himself still a newcomer ,he debuted in 2021,did many costume dramas but he was never ML in any of them .She can say that he needs more practice to play a lead role but no for her he is not a new face as if he did so many lead roles and she never shows any dissatisfaction with other rumored MLs.
Now here she finds his styling weird ,Let me tell you Luke Chan had this similar hairstyle in the starry love which she liked.She only has dissatisfaction when it comes to deng wei.
I mean it can be one times or two times but she has problem everytime.If one day he gets best character design or best styling which matches her taste still she will have dissatisfaction bcz she don't like him.
No offence if someone of you are her friend.I just find it annoying .That's why today i blocked her.
It's not like that i like him that's why i can't take any criticism ,not at all if anyone criticised his acting i will agree with it,he is still a newcomer needs more practice,that's why he better to be a ML 2

Hong Xiu Li's(LYT's Character) looks will be simple bcz her family is so poor but when she will enter the palace as the king's consort then her attire will change.

I know many of you are concern about joseph but i have a feeling he will do good here and his character design is different than his other characters.

I really liked riley's attire.Jing Lan always wears simple cloths .Most of his looks supposed to be heroic and they did his makeup exactly like that.I will not spoiled you but he has another identity

Joseph's attire is perfect as a emperor ,he is looking so elegant and his character also supposed to be elegant but it would be more good if they won't tied up his hair

They shouldn't have tying his hair .I know in china emperors always tied their hair so in that way his attire is perfect and The original plot is japanese but aleast they could give him a ponytail

One thing I want to clarify again that Cha Shuo Xun was not the SML in original plot but drama team upgraded his character as SML and it was decided in last year before casting the actors.
I have no problem with some changing but hope they will not change the love angles and give it to any other fl characters.

Don't worry his character here is totally different from BFTB ,here it will be kind of a White Moonlight .In some parts I even loved him more than the Male Lead.

I don't think he will gets bashed for it.His character has a small part but they didn't show some of his parts in details so i think the drama team will just increase some screentime to show everything in details and even though his character was a crazy villain but it's not a typical annoying villain who wanted to create misunderstanding between the leads.Just hope they will show his crazy things.
And they upgraded Cha Shuo Xun as second male lead last year when they announced about doing the adaption,so everything was decided before casting .

yes here his attires is soo good ,and the costume designer is the one who did in LBFAD,Fox spirit and the matchmaker: Yue Hong ,Love You seven times.I am now waiting for the looks of other Leads

LJG and LSH,they both were in the Scholar Who Walks the Night but i never find any resemblance between them ,yes everyone has their own perspective and cnetz are just gets similar vibes between him and Deng Wei for their bad boy looks and some of them felt it since DW's debut but obviously There can't be any comparison😅 bcz LSH is more senior and experienced actor even though he is underrated but if he appears any drama even for two mins he attracts many watchers and DW is also his fanboy but now some YXH are making troubles for him by making some silly comparisons.🥴

it will be stupidity if they do it.beside the ML the other two male leads also only loved the FL in their life,and the second fl has her own love interest .So they better not to change any love angles.Yes as they upgraded CSX as 2nd ml so he will get some more scenes than the original plot ,also they put Dai Luwa's character before JingLan so she will get some more highlighted scenes and many watchers felt the ML's character is not interesting that much even though i liked him ,so the change probably will make him more intersting...I just hope the change would be positive and they will not cut anyone's highlighted scenes and makes any unncessary love angles .

I will be glad if sang yan plays anyone between linghe or feiyu but i personally wants Linghe in this drama and Feiyu in a costume drama

In novel and anime his character even kissed her three times,he was such a crazy character ,I don't know if they show it or not but I don't want them to cut the last kiss he gave her when he was dying bcz that scene was emotional.
