Just because u understand some character behaviour, it doesn't change the fact, what's wrong is wrong. Stop judging people, who criticize that character behaviour are less empathetic.
Jungwoo character is poorly written without elaborating much about his personality and thought process.
Heayi character behaves like she knows everything but all she got is birdbrain.
Suho character written in a way spoon feeding every single detail about his personality without rushing anything. Definitely writers favorite character.
There are some interesting side characters but writers failed to utilise properly as they are busy with elevating 2ml character as much as possible.
I had already drop it but with reading this progression of the series I think everyone should be more convinced…

Heayi has absolutely no reason to lie to Jungwoo. Even though she don't have any horny or shitty intentions. I won't blame Jungwoo if he misunderstand her.
Suho must be on cloud nine as he using his situation perfectly to cling on to haeyi more and more.
Now she invited him to her house at stay at night as he has no other friends or any single soul to depend on, thanks to his wonderful personality, he will start hoping soon, she will invite him into her bedroom too.
This is most realistic drama I have seen in recent times. Thanks to Heayi character. Now I can freely hate her more than Suho. This drama showing equality in perfect way.

Much Romance? yes, if one sees drunken kisses, forced kisses, out of nowhere bed scenes as romantic. To be fair, Main leads doesn't even have single interesting and proper conversation btw them for entire 16 eps. They have least screentime together. For many episodes they barely talk to each other.
Love triangles? Exist, just for namesake.
Happy ending? Yes, Main leads changed their relationship status from friends to friends with benefits. Only drama writers know will they get married or not.
This drama maybe suitable for binge watch, as it gives luxury to skip all uninteresting and boring moments. No need to wait for anything.
So breaking up with him will cure her mother health condition?
She simply not matured enough to be in relationship.
