In True beauty, FL only likes one person from start to end without any deviation. FL never did any drunken mistakes with sml or allowed him to take advantage over her situation.
Actual love traingle is only btw ML, SML without FL knowledge.

Exactly Kdramas started normalising lot of things lately. I started watching kdramas for a reason but completely losing interest now.

Most of the writers are females. They know female audience pulse better.
I never saw properly realistic written male character from last 2 years especially years. Especially in rom-coms, either they make them too good or completely evil.

I really don't care about first kiss as long as they don't do it in drunken state. That's really sick and unacceptable. Nothing romantic.

She has to take responsibility for what she did. Either gave up completely on her crush and give suho a chance or Give proper apologize to suho and cut off all ties for good without giving any anymore hopes.

Here in this drama both of the things i mentioned not gonna happen. I didn't get that vibe.

Love is for sucker is much much better than this. If observe properly, lot of things makes sense in that drama, even though we don't like it.

This drama also following the trend "Love in contract" started. In that drama SML kissed drunken FL. In this drama Drunken FL kissed SML who sticks to her like a gum. So they are gonna normalise it as drunken mistake for sure.

In hope in future they show drunken sex scenes and normalise them as drunken mistake.

Social pressure, expectations applies to everyone. Gender has nothing to with it. After crossing certain age like 32, 33 people automatically makes decisions keeping age in mind.

Sorry i don't agree with 2nd one. Deep feelings?. That's long gone. Her age forced her to accept that marriage proposal. Not because she is still in love with him.

While Yu Reum did nothing. Once again taken his feelings as granted. In the name doing what's best for him, she simply edited and aired the show without asking him anything. Even though his image is cleared, which he doesn't care much.

I'm arguing because you felt extremely harsh on her character. In my opinion her character doesn't have any real important in this drama. Only to create some drama and fill some episodes, mostly turn all negativity sml getting towards sfl. Writers surely successed in that aspect.

So what. It doesn't mean she cheated on him. Rumors are rumours until they proven. He/we didn't know complete details. She doesn't look like a whore to me. I didn't get that vibe.

Sangeun also spends lot of time with HaeJin. It doesn't mean she has a fling with him because we know all the details.

FL character is not written properly. She easily keep her guard down around SML throughout the drama. She never said don't make any decisions without informing me. Not even once. Putting up with whatever shit he do. Even ready to sacrifice herself for his career and constantly poking into his life like SML did to her. They are like inseparable soulmates.

It's a miracle how she managed her job for years with that personality. She was too easy to manipulate.

Jiho character is limited to trauma and being there for SangEun and agreeing with whatever shit she does. They didn't elaborate his back story with JiEun properly. Him being a judge is just for plot sake. Never explored anything regarding his career side. After he started dating SangEun, his character completely turned into fantasy mode.

Writers simply in busy with spoon feeding SangEun and Haejin characters showing their love life, career life, family life especially Haejin character.

They can do a lot better with Gwang Nam character but he has limited screentime. Writes should have cut some haejin scenes and have alot that time to Gwang Nam and Jiho characters.

A simply below average drama which turns into complete formulatic mode after few initial episodes.

My Ratings for characters

Jiho : 6/10 (Traumatic character turned Fantasy Boyfriend/Husband)

SangEun : 3/10 (Never liked her drunken behaviour. She needs to be more careful.)

HaeJin : 3/10 (I will give him best Delusional Star award)

Gwang Nam : 9/10 (Under utilised character)

JiEun : 5/10 (No one knows what her character arc is)

She never cheated on him. Don't make it up. They don't elaborate her character properly. Writers are simply busy with spoon-feeding SML character who gets highest screentime than anyone in whole drama.

Why kdrama writers like Oh Do Hwan type characters. Do shit, turn good at end and get away with everything.

I don't know what soothing side means. Jiho is a giver, SangEun is a receiver in that relationship. Which is crystal clear. I can sure Jiho will stay loyal to SangEun. Can't say same about SangEun, she doesn't convince me fully.
