Honestly I'm still watching this (now ep. 20) only because of the handsome casts. ^^ I'm not quite interested in the storyline since they showed too many spoilers from the beginning, though I hope there will be a nice twist in the end. You can just try one or two episodes to decide; it's only about 10 minutes per episode.
It's quite interesting. Su Zhuo was a young hero who just entered the jianghu and was involved in some strange murder cases. He saved Ding Xiu, a bride who was robbed en route. Ding Xiu kept pestering Su Zhuo, wanting him to be "responsible" and marry her, but then they worked together in solving cases. However, she actually had a hidden motive towards Su Zhuo and deliberately approached him from the beginning.

No, I think she married the royal concubine for political reason, while the other concubines were kinda deliberately used to show that she was slacking. There is one scene where the royal concubine slept with another girl and he said it was his first time.

This is a really good drama, so heartwarming. The place is so beautiful, a peaceful village with good people and nice view.

On the way of their journey, they met a strayed puppy. Xiao An named it Haoyun (Lucky) and now he decided to find a good home for Haoyun.
This drama is light, nothing too serious. I love the sunny Empress (in Emperor's body), who is simple-minded and always kind even to the cunning concubine. Although there are loopholes, this drama is quite entertaining. Links to the subtitled episodes in the spoiler.
