Another 'contract-relationship' J-drama you can try watching is Nagareboshi. It's similar to Marriage Contract, except not so tragic. And the main lead, Takenouchi Yutaka, is so goood! (by good, I mean handsome. Oh and he's a good actor, too!)
It's similar to the combination of the famous LDK + Itazura Na Kiss. Cept the male lead is less cruel to the female lead. Their characters are more believable as well, hence audiences are able to relate. Supporting casts are awesome too! Love how how diverse their circle of friends are from the Ramen-Boy, Issei-Chan to the Confession-King Abecci ;D and the tomboy Nozomi Kitaura.
I read from a comment somewhere that there's gonna be a 2nd season. Anyone know, if that's true? :)
Sigh... What can I say about this drama that everybody else hasnt? Love it from beginning to end. The characters…
Read your comment above. Glad that we share the same thoughts about this drama :) ! I really find SK's character nuts and fascinating. LOLOLOL!
About Discovery of Romance - It was a friend's favourite drama. I too, don't get why it's so fascinating. Maybe, we need to give the drama a chance. ;)
Sigh... What can I say about this drama that everybody else hasnt? Love it from beginning to end. The characters of the supporting casts were quirky and funny. The building tension between the male and female leads was just fantastic! I almost tore my hair out in frustration! Fantastic acting! This is my first time watching Eric in a drama. I tried watching Discovery of Romance, but the first episode just turned me off! I dunno why. I might consider re-starting the drama now, after watching Eric in Another Miss Oh.
I love the 'Butterfly Effect-ish' mystery to this drama, I love how the male characters (not just the lead!) are flawed. I love the fact that I can see why the male and female lead characters are so madly attracted to each other and how they compliment each other. And Kim Mi Kyung! My fav Ahjumma actor! <3 It is a drama with a great storyline supported by talented actors. LOVE!
The best quirky rom-com in 2016, thus far! Nam Gung Min and Min Ah has such fantastic chemistry! Had me rolling in laughter almost every episodes. Min Ah is suprisingly talented. I loike! Recommend!
It's a lovely lakorn. Gypso STOLE the show. <3 And those eyes, so pretty! Push is just sooo handsome. Thank god the man can act. LukPit was the man of the match! Hahahahahaha!
Ahhhh! I can't wait to start watching this. I'm a series-binger and dont link to wait in between episodes! It's been some time since YWCMTS! And I still have left-over feels from that drama! <3 Kim Soo Hyun Oppaaaaaaa!
I think the storyline is a little odd. IDK, it just doesnt sit well with me. I rather enjoy Jong Hyun and So Min's chemistry is this movie, though. But that is all.
'Koinaka' is a mixture of friendship thrown in with a little romance. Maybe a little 'slice of life' too. The male/female leads have good chemistry. I especially love when she kicks his butt! LOL. I like Sota's acting in this drama. He potrays a laid back, realistic and approachable character. I find that I can easily relate to his character. And Honda is just so pretty, nuff said!
There are sweet and heartwarming moments in the drama. But if you're looking for a full-blown romance, then this is not for you. And it's not too melodramatic as what the category suggests, too :) Comic relief comes in the form of the supporting characters - Kohei and Mariko-chan.
Hong Jong Hyun is the reason why I continued. Even so, I had to put the drama on hold. And it's a web-drama at that. Lol! The character of the female lead is a wee bit pathetic me thinks. Meh~
Let me begin my saying that I especially love the pace of this show. :) It wasn't draggy at all!
And I love the storyline. <3 I love that ample time was given on the backstory and how they subsequently meet again. There were plenty heartwarming scenes between the two main leads. Just wished their romantic chemistry was better. I'd give it a 7. Sweet to watch, but I've seen better chemistry.
Oh yes, it is important to mention that each time Jasper smiles, my heart STOPS. I mean, those dimples are a crime! :B In the show, I felt that Mandy's hair was a tad too long. IDK if they were her real hair or hair extensions. Either way, they made her look slightly older. Esp when standing beside baby-face Jasper Liu.
Supporting casts were awesome. Kept the show alive. :) The rival/antagonist characters and plot twists were just right ;) And I like how the show wrote in an ending for most of the supporting characters as well. The OST was nice. Esp the closing sequence by Dawen. I actually downloaded it. Overall, this show is LOVE!
This drama starts out fun! I love Kyoko's ditzy and generous character as much as I love Dean's silently protective character. Amazing supporting casts! Sadly, I felt the ending was a little too rushed and anti-climatic. It's a nice drama, overall. Just be prepared for a slight let-down towards the end. You have been warned :P
This is my go-to Jap movie if I need cheering up. Unlike most Jap high-school romance movies, where the girls are on the shy and reserved side, Mirei's character in Heroine Shikaku is bubbly and funny! Don't get me started on her facial expressions in this movie "Nakajimaaa~"
Lololol! Such a refreshing change!
Kentaro is a strong second lead! Love! And Kento is just siiiiiigh~
Oh! And Nishino's song - Torisetsu - in the OST is too cute! It's in my iTunes now. LOL.
