Yeah I agree with you, I love their chemistry but I dislike that they ended up together especially without any actual redemption for the way he treated QY throughout the series, I actually didn't like the third couple even felt XH and QY were a better couple sadly what little chemistry they had in the start diminished for me when she started getting abusive. So I really want to see CX and XD's ending and XH and QY's ending because the gist I got is that CX and XD have to build their romance all over again and XH get's his girl who he doesn't deserve

Yeah, I actually thought I would like to see Merxat and Ju Jing Yi together after seeing him get sidelined in all of the dramas he has with her but in this one I actually hated their moments together maybe it was because Xuan He is mature and Chu Xia is not as much but to it seemed like a brother and sister chemistry, not a problem because she had chemistry with Xiao Dong the person she is supposed to be in love with so it's fine. Also Xuan He definitely matches Qin Yue more than what he or I expected, helps that they are one hot visual couple with hot chemistry (ik that this is subjective but I've seen a quite a few agreeing with that XH and QY have great chemistry together I even think they are dating in real life but that's a story for another time. Yeah, I did come up with a point that might have never loved both girls but I definitely do not believe because I can see that he loves Qin Yue if he didn't in ep 8 or 9 when QY says "I have been serious from the first time we started dating but now I can see you haven't been." she leaves shadily and he is visually disturbed nor in ep 23 when she says that she won't leave him he is sad because irregardless he has to leave her and he is losing her but in the end it seems like she will wait for him to come back from prison but it would have been nice to see their actual ending in a concise manner and begging her to come back to him a groveling way bc that stalker back hug was not it. The main couple got robbed of a clear ending even more so it seems like the third couple are only one's happy

Also I will mention that although I hated Xuan He as a character and felt only pity for Qin Yue the actors themselves had amazing chemistry which is why I developed such a subjective on them

I think at the start he feels attracted to Qin Yue/in love with her, but he does not realize it at the start and he thinks the guilt he feels is love when Chu Xia comes back time goes on and he realizes he can't get his hands off Qin Yue literally, I think the breaking point comes for him in ep 12 where she says you love me but you don't realize it and he realizes he wasn't as hurt as he thought when Xiao Dong beat him up. It also shows that with him coming to realize that he loves Qin Yue he want's to kill Chu Xia because he just wants to achieve his goal and he doesn't care what happens to her because she is not the one he loves and she doesn't love him either. This point becomes obvious in ep 18 where he says I've done this for us both to Qin Yue (Maybe their backstory would have helped a bit but it seems like he was the person who courted Qin Yue first in the shoe shop so it might also been a ploy when he tried to get back with Chu Xia only to carry out his plans and might only romantically like Qin Yue from the start but this isn't explained so the viewers have to assume one of he is an the two things or come to the conclusion that he is an emotionless shit and doesn't have feelings for either girls (which can be possible but he can't keep his hands off of Qin Yue so not sure with this one LOL) it becomes painstakingly obvious that in the end his love for his father and possibly Qin Yue drives him don to a deep end which he turns completely evil before his great and shitty chance at the redemption part, in the end it seems like he has completely moved on from the pas and loves only Qin Yue (especially after the noble sacrifice break up where she comes back to him). I hope this can clear your doubts but with the little screen time Qin Yue and Xuan He have as a couple this is the best views I developed as a viewer.

I mean I wouldnt say complete oppposite but the orignal couple are way more understanding and likable for one.

Never thought I would say this but I dislike Yang and Mint so much, I loved them in the original Mint's character is nothing like Esther's character in Find Yourself, and I loved how Zhang Yu JIan was a caring brother who is in his sister's best interest while also finding his side of the story with jealously and love, Yang is nothing like that in this drama #thisdramahaswaytoomanyvillains Sorry I always mark my comments with a spoiler tag didn't know what was happening in my brain during that time

If they ever have a Kdrama remake I vote for Park Yoo Na and Cha Eun Woo, I feel like PYN can do well in these type of character and CEW is great at the lover boy feels.
