it started off as a strong 8 but 3 Male leads incomplete stories useless side stories suffering until the end only to celebrate for a few minutes. hard to believe character transitions, FL went from a person being scammed by everyone around her to a war strategist... 😂, then backed to being scammed and thrown into slavery. demeaning women, FL was passed around like a sample brocade. Nui Wuniang"s ending was weak and senseless. they want me to believe that she was chained into submission and pushed to that ending. it doesn't fit the role she started as. 2nd and 3rd love stories were useless. the story line interrupted itself, big order had to be taken on to pay a debt... lol did they ever complete the order? FL started trade with Tabo, only to be kidnap and the trade had to have been abandoned. right? but a year later after being forced in to slavery they were able to continue the trade with Tabo?

ZY being the only warrior fighter in the series really ruined it for me. it would have been better if he had a few fighters like himself by his side. qit would have made the fight scenes more believable instead of him being a lone warrior.
General Nui"s death? I don't know why it was extremely funny to me. At the same time I feel he should have been dealt with by the imperial court. he caused so much disaster, the emperor himself should have beheaded him.
A brocade officer lol out here killing folks, a general at that. interesting indeed.

I was totally displeased with the all the episodes from the time Yingying walked in to the Yang's and agreed to marry to save her mother. that ended weird, I swore I saw her mother laying in a bed being taken care of in a home, the huanhua dye house (ep25 17 minutes). Zhao said the county magistrate released her from prison. but later after the court case they showed her walking out of the prison? this like a few other scenes, thing just seemed misplaced or disconnected.
I like follow through, the only thing this series followed through on was attacking FL.

I don't know if DZ will be able to reveal his dark side to her before it's too late. but not sure how they are going to twist this. in part it seems if they are leaning towards changing him by actually loving and caring for him. on the other hand it seems she will die by his deceitful demeanor that she keeps defending.
it's like they don't like women. Nui Wuinang was such a a force but ended up in such a predicament. it would have been a better story if she was a villain to the end or turned to the light side.
I disliked her character because she was bad. Disliked her ending because it made her character useless.

so grateful to be able to see this masterpiece. if this series did anything wrong in earlier episodes that last few episodes clearly make up for it.
