At this point, I should just expect SE for every serious historical cdrama... Until and unless it's a soft romance comedy...We are bound to get a SE... Goodbye my princess...The king's Woman...The list goes on and on..not to mention those annoying open ending ones...I can't stand them...I feel like if The production direction actually kills a character...as we audience at least owe a proper closure, so that I can sob historically for them for weeks lmao...I guess Cdrama directors wants a create a longer time impact by giving those SEs...
Sorry for my rant... Long story short... though it breaks my heart...I don't criticize a well made drama just becoz of its SE...e.g GMP..that drama broke me for years, still a 10/10 for me..and a must watch if someone loves historical dramas

Completely agree...XFF was a Magistrate 's daughter, a beautiful, talented famous girl in her city with God knows how many proposals from good and decent families...But she chose you, from a poor, lower social status family convincing her father and brother... Yep, our girl for the first time in history played,tricked,used the Almighty Duke Su...Tho he was aware of her tricks but Man , he had to play the game in her terms in return to the capital...and couldn't even get anything from his famous interrogation session...The only and first time, someone was getting away by tricking and using DS...and the Ninja Duo Ji was spicing to the wound... We really got a Wild Kid in cdrama industry😅😅... Even WJY says that WXY is quite bold not to address her as Jie or something senior in terms... instead WJY calls him as Wang Ge😆😆😆😆 I can't with these two...They really make a lovely pair and love how they are comfortable with each other even in the bts they do all the skin ships...I loved and adored them as individual before but now together they are just 🔥🔥🔥
