I think the old man was an angel sent down to help the blind woman but they fell in love with each other. I don't think they knew each other for long.

I think their relationship is really interesting because of sung mo supposed ability to not feel emotions!

I'm really upset too but her death was crucial to the plot development because her dad was the main thing stopping them from investigating and now that she's dead they'll use all their resources to put all the puzzle pieces together. And seeing how hurt sung mo is about her death I don't think he is completely emotionless. But instead of fixing on one person like his father he fixated on multiple people and did what ever he could to protect them without physically locking them up.

I think the real Do Hyun Jin was diagnosed with leukemia when she was really little so Do Jae Hwan had number 88 and used the bio center to make sure 88 was a bone marrow match for his daughter. But since she died anyway he adopted young eun because his wife became mentally unstable from losing their daughter and had to get rid of 88 because he was evidence for the illegal activity they were doing. I also think Do Jae Hwan having 88 as a donor for his daughter gave him the idea to have other kids as living donors to sell to powerful people because if they needed an organ not only could they guarantee get it but they could genetically create kids from their sperms/eggs to make sure they would be the best match for them so their bodies wouldn't reject the new organ.

I think she's only seen his motorcycle at the apartment complex once after he drove away from the orphanage the night before. I think she already knew he was related to the orphanage but I don't think she assumed he was the assassin. That's why she's always checking in on him and his whereabouts.

I think both the ML and FL were friends at the orphanage but when she was adopted her dad did not want any witnesses knowing that's not his real daughter so that's why he tried to have the ML killed. Also I think his real daughter died due to some experiment his company was doing or something like that.
