You are right on with the characters, though it does pull a reverse TRHC meaning it gets really good halfway through…
So happy to hear that it gets better. I also think I know what you mean about the older brother. I recently watched episode 20-21 and he started to suspect that the ML likes his sister and he does not approve, so I suspect that will get annoying soon! As for the other family members and the mother I don't know how they will manage to redeem them (because we know they will) if by now they didn't show any signs of change.
So I recently started watching this and I only really like 4.5 characters The Fl, the ML, Philip and Mirin! The 0.5 is the Fl's older brother, he really seems decent and the only one that kind of understands what the FL is going through but he really needs to grow a pair! I came here to see if things get better letter on but apparently they don't! Hopefully this will pull a reverse TRHC (which started great and after episode 30 went to shit town) and get better after episode 30!

I didn't notice that to be honest so if it's true it makes sense not to be her. Anyway all of these as speculations based only on one episode. I am pretty sure the writer will make us wonder for both questions throwing some misdirection and red herrings our way in order to confuse us.
As far as 1st episodes go you cannot do better than this. They provided all the emotional backstory and set up everything for what's to come. Who could Jung Ki Ho be in the future? Who is his mother? Could it be Yoo Ran Jo? The majority of the episode was on the backs of the young actors who they did an excellent job. The more I was watching the young actress that played Seo Mok Ha the more I was seeing Park Eun Bin and that's some excellent casting right there.
*As for who I think is adult Jung Ki Ho, I think is Cha Hak Yeon's character because: 1) the young actor had some similarity to him 2)this writer has the tendency to spend the first episode on the 2nd ML making an emotional connection between him and the FL and then have it been for nothing and 3) the character's name is Woo Hak which is very similar to Mok Ha which is the FL's name...
Moving is a masterclass when it comes to structure and storytelling! Telling a story in a non linear way could be confusing and the downfall of a drama, but up to this point Moving does an excellent job in keeping the viewers engaged.
Here is what I want to see after todays revelations:
1)I want to see the next 2 episodes as they were indented to be broadcasted without anyone being edited out. The 6 of them just having fun. Moon Se-Yoon and Kim Seon Ho is one of my favourite combinations and the idea of not seeing them together just hurts... 2) I want them to film the 100th episode the way they indented and have it be a celebration, and although KSH cannot be there it could be like the episode Moon Se Yoon was sick (were they had a plush pig toy), they can have a sprout in a pot in his place or something like that 3) I don't want them to be afraid to mention his name and maybe by the end just say that he can take all the time he needs to pull him self together and that they will wait for him
