There are no instances of mortals or mountain gods being able to use sundial at all. Also, CH's power died when his puppet was diabled by WX and ZYZ using baize token and the sundial was already found by ZYZ but he said to her they are still stuck in there the illusion has not ended yet. So he asked her to use her Gloden eyes of baize order not baize token to find the door to go out of sundial. When she used it to bring everyone out of the sundial, the big sundial outside near YL glowed.

The sundial started working when her eyes glowed to enter it and it reflected in YL eyes because he was standing there thats all.

Sorry i just remembered that WX used her golden eyes of baize order to enter the dial. ZYZ told her its more powerful then the demons truth eye. No one else went in because they didn't have that power. She being able to use her baize power means baize token broken didn't effect her being baize goddess. Only powers related to the token's powers stopped working. She used her golden eye power to break sundials illusion and came out of it. Even zyz couldn't help them get out at that time.

Without baize token and ZYZ the whole wilderness was becoming doomed. All demons should have said their prayers if WX didnt come up with the solution to fix it. Good thing she was smart, brave, witty and resourceful

If she was really going to die aging in the time valley, neither YL or Mountain god LW or PSJ nor BJ would have let her go in the sundial. so many people can't be that dumb or careless. It was understood she was going to come out alive although worn out. Yl and bj were even playing outside happily 🤣

Her life has already been prolonged by baize token when activated she didn't actively use baize tokens magic/power to increase her life. She still is a chosen baize goddess, even if token is broken. Her life span is not a divine power but a blessing to help her carry out her duties.

It seems that baize godesses once they have activated the baize token, there life span can be very long unless they are killed or die of illness. The original goddess lived and maintained the baize order along with the demon CH. CH ( a powerful demon of that time who can live up to many thousands of years) said one of the reasons he was trying to cure her because she was supposed help him maintain baize order in both realms. Therefore, he was expecting her to live as long as he lived to carry on being guardians for a very very long time. I don't think it was a coincidence that we didn't see any of the goddesses grown old with white hair or die of old age. They all appeared looking young no matter what age they were in. Baize token increases there life span and they don't age.

In the first episode he gives her wax flowers meaning ever lasting love and then flirts and jokes with her on every opportunity from then on. I don't understand what previous dynamic between them you are talking about?
