Are we talking about absolute morality/blind justice here? If that is the case ZYC would have executed ZYZ in the first episode based on evidence of murdering many people on blood moon day. There would be no demon hunting team to explore mysterious cases and an opportunity for viewers to find out the reasons behind ZyZ killing incident. The fact you came this far means that justice wasn't the priority. So is it possible you are confusing absolute morality/ blind justice with human understanding, compassion or compromise?

In any case, it's ofcourse your choice to come this far and its your choice to continue to explore the actual reality of events in the drama vs your concerns.

Yichen will be poetic and understanding to ZYZ as well after becoming demon. He isnt exactly close to ZyZ at the moment and hates him for killing his father and dearest brother. Yichen is more open and closer to bj sees his dead brother in him. Humans are very unjust and misunderstand demons in this day and age. You must have seen in the beginning some demons were shot dead at first sight. The whole point of this journey is they all change and learn to understand their pains and troubles and eventually trust demons. To give them chance and learn to give justice to demons in return. So you are right their are double standards to some extend at this point but eventually at the end of their journey humans will accept demons and would establish justice and safety for them.

ZYC is a character who is very bad at showing his true emotions. You will see how he will change after he becomes demon himself and is in ZYZ shoes. Also they all understand him at this point but are unable to say its okay its not your fault because they have lost their dear families and friends lives by his hands. Trust me they all will be cooperating, grateful and ready to die for him by the end of it.

ZYC will be begging him not to die and other will always tell him off for readily seaking death all the time.

Also zyz knows how bad it feels to be manipulated into doing bad things. He is manipulated by his evil consciousness to kill people. He also is a very kind soul so forgives people without any hard feelings. They all understood bj was misslead into doing this against his will. He hated doing all this by the end of it he was crying to hurt ZYZ's touch (his final sense) he refused to hurt him any further after he learned the truth about his mother.

I know poor ZYZ. I don't know where you are in the drama but it will change very drastically. He will gradually become true friends with team mates. His team mates learn to trust him , understand and care for him. Even ZYC who hates him for killing his father and brother, will become loyal friend to extend of being a soulmate. He will find true love with WX after 34000 years. Earn people love, admiration and respect. He will clear misunderstandings about him to everyone. He will prove to people that demons can be good and protect both races. The team will become like family he never had before giving him warmth and happy fun memories

ZYZ says in the MV that
"Meeting you is like having very long beautiful dream" he meant his friends and his love gave him dreamy happiness in his long torturous span of 10 of thousands of years long life.

Beautifully said! Couldn't have agreed more! Besides the actual crying scenes time amounts to 5% of the whole drama time. But because they were so well executed appropriate to the need of the events and the story line it gets engraved in viewers hearts. In the FOF trailer ZYZ says "when the dreams ends, it will stay in your heart forever" so this drama whether it showed happy, sad, fearful, dreamy, love, hate, hopeful or hopeless moments they all stay with the viewers. This drama has well balanced the sad side with the calm, happy, funny, relaxing, mystry solving, friends comrady, familial love, romance and caring side. Its very unfair to just focus on just small certain part of the drama. It has to be unbiased and balance view with open mindedness.
