I was thinking in all of the side stories/cases why does all demons get screwed over by female humans/demons/goddesses. Guys end up dying or sacrificing themselves for the women for the sake of protecting or loving them. Like Ran yi dies because of the bride, the original goddess dies for the fellow demon Cheng Huang and Cheng huang dies for her, PSJ brother died for his sister too, the Fei dies for the bird demon. I somehow feel it's a Premonitory for goddess Wen and demon ZYZ, that she is fated to bring him to his demise and Li Lun knows this. That's why LiLun is trying everything to destroy Wen Xiao and her token and he hates the humans.
