Just finished and it was better than expected. Loved the twist and turns and the comedy. The ending could have been better, left me wanting to know more about modern day characters and feeling sad for characters that should’ve had their happy ending.
The trailer was really good but otherwise I have mostly read rants… let’s check it out. Can’t possibly end…
It’s fantastic. Give it a shot. Don’t mind the rants. I laughed, got angry and cried my heart out 😂 any show that pulls emotions from me like this is a winner in my book.
I’ve been in a rut trying to find something to watch lately. This is truly a hidden gem and sad it didn’t get the attention it truly deserves. Watched it over on Viki and they complied it into 8 episodes. Honestly, I was hooked the whole way… blown away with the acting, costumes, filming and skinship it had considering it’s a Chinese drama and you know how they are with censorship.
ML is the biggest green flag I’ve seen in a while, supported his girl all the way. Fl was strong, mature and just chef kiss to their relationship. 9/10 for me because I wish it was longer and dived a little deeper into who that one eyed creature was.
