Haha that was what made the show great in my opinion. It wasn't about the love story it was actually about the story and you could really feel from the characters that it was based on a manga. But oh well.. ;)

Good article but man I'm dissapointed with the japanese releases, as I find myself being alot.

Episodic show after show and TONS of detective shows. Bleh!

There is already a live action Sengoku Basara show with Gackt, Hayashi Kento etc. Never got translated as far as I know.

This drama is really trying hard. I didn't really like it at first, it's got the episodic cliches as usual, the bullying episode, the music related one, the teacher having a problem etc. But when I watched episode 7 today I found myself thinking, "When did this thing get so damn good"? When it was ending and Shinkawa says to Ryoko "See you tommorrow" and Miyazaki stops for a second saying "What are we?" while Flower Song was playing I couldn't help but sit there and smile like a dumbass.

Don't think anyone have picked it up yet. I'm really hoping someone will though. It looks like something fresh which isn't easy to come by in the jdrama world.

Is this show worth it? I mean I'm bored to death of episodic crime dramas but I love Shota. Hard decision! :S

To lazy to write a real review for this right now, but it's an amazing movie. I really recommend it. Best japanese movie I've seen since Confessions.
