excellent classic melodrama climaxing with a bang and all the evil characters coming to a just end quite addictive🌟
why did the cops show up at the end to arrest Doo huk lead? That time in Korea history so turbulent with gangs and limited justice , wasnt that long ago, 80s . Than you have the slave history too..A possible insight into that time period? I really enjoyed the story too, maybe because I'm trying to also figure out what happened in their history. I ve seen several dramas dealing with that time era.
I actually enjoyed this bitter sweet drama and wondered how accurate the slave story was? It had is drama love triangle, and the gangs.. which I also wondered about being not Korean... but they seemed to have played a major part in that corrupt history period. Spoiler alert.. I'm not sure if I understand the ending. Was Doo HHak arrested? If so why? I'm hoping not. They did well in giving the feeling , you were back in 70s early 80s timeliness. After Doo Hak putting away the bad guys and corruption . Why did they arrest him?
Was almost the same problems in every episode, dragging on. I like the leads. But after like episode 10 or 12 I just skipped to the end. Always breaking up and patching, same story line every episode. plus I honestly felt she was too old for him and he just totally adored her.
I would of given this a perfect 10 , but found the older wife's story boring , over the top and the s. koreian political leader should of been more serious. But the main story was intense and spoiler I know it was going to have a sad ending. So prepared for that. I really loved the main couple. They were fighting against evil politicians. If you get past the first episode, took me 3 times, but its gripping story. I would re-watch this drama. I loved the main couple.
Enjoyable, but left unanswered loose holes in last episode. Also didn't stay true to the male lead dream. What the heck.So happy ending yes, but disappointed with holes and messing up the male lead
Totally enjoyed this drama. Bit they needed a couple more episodes, the ending left some holes in the story that weren't explained. Plus it didn't end with male lead dream. So I found it had holes and didn't stay true to ml dream. But enjoyable, had all the usual drama stuff, love , suspense, laughter, tears. But definitely needed a more complete ending.
